Horse A-Z
170,000gns yearling son of Frankel. Half-brother to eight winners, out of a 5f-1m2f winner. Represents a top team and should be capable of making an impact on debut.
€10,000 foal, £37,000 yearling. First foal. Dam placed 7f at 2yrs (inc AW), sister to 6f 2yo Listed winner Hold Your Colours and 1m2f-1m6f Flat/2m-2m2f hurdle winner Taste The Wine. Market check on debut.

Well held on both starts so far (both 7f, good) and can't be fancied on that form.

Double D's28
Age: 2|  Weight: 9-5| J: P Mulrennan| T: M Dods
20-1 and last of 10, beaten 9½L on debut at Ayr (7f, good) last month. Much more needed.
12-1 and beaten 11½L when last of 12 on debut at Ayr (1m, good) last month. Can only watch this time.

Eagle Court23
Age: 2|  Weight: 9-5| J: D Nolan| T: D O'Meara
33-1 and showed promise on debut, despite racing keenly, then just over 7L fifth of 11 here over 7f (good) last month. Can improve for that experience and not ruled out of the frame if handling heavy.

Gift Of Kings28
Age: 2|  Weight: 9-5| J: K Stott| T: K A Ryan| BF
Has shown some promise on both runs so far although was held when favourite at Ayr last time. Step up in trip should suit, has it to prove on heavy ground, but can't rule him out of the money.

Age: 2|  Weight: 9-5| J: T Eaves| T: K A Ryan
16-1 and never involved on debut at Thirsk (7f, good) last month. Much more needed.
18-1 and always behind on debut at Carlisle (1m, good to soft). Can only watch.

20-1 and tapped for toe over 7f on debut at Chelmsford recently, finishing 16L last of 11. Represents top team, so improvement on that is anticipated this time.
800gns yearling. Third foal. Dam French 1m2f winner. Stable not known for debut winners in these types of race, so probably one to watch.

Forecasts

Bobby The Great (7/2), Gift Of Kings (4/1), Eagle Court (6/1), Dreaming Blue (7/1), Ramsha (8/1), Double D's (12/1), Sea Of Shadows (12/1), Onedin (12/1), Dangeroffizz (14/1), Borstal Bull (14/1), Titanium Grey (16/1)

Verdict

There's nothing special about the form of those with experience here, the best of which could prove to be Eagle Court today, while Gift Of Kings is another who can't be discounted. Therefore, it has the look of a good opportunity for newcomer BOBBY THE GREAT, who is beautifully bred, represents a top team, and could make a positive start to his career. Stablemate Ramsha can improve from her debut and may also make the frame.
  1. Bobby The Great
  2. Eagle Court
  3. Ramsha
