Won first three starts for this yard but on a losing streak since and didn't show signs of ending that run when 6L fourth in 1m2f Epsom handicap last month. Handicap mark continues to drop but looks exposed.

Best form came when winning competitive Goodwood handicap (7f) in May but out of sorts since. Defeated by 20L at Galway handicap (7f) on last start for previous handler and a bit to prove on stable debut.

C&D winner at the start of the season but hasn't looked the same horse when highly tried since. Looked tapped for toe over 7f at Chelmsford last time but has a bit to prove now.

Losing run goes back to over a year now and could only finish fifth of six in similar handicap at Sandown (1m) last month. Cheekpieces are turned to now to irk out more improvement.

C&D winner of a novice back in December and while he hasn't added to that success, he made an encouraging return from absence when second at Yarmouth (1m) in September. Entitled to come on for that and holds solid claims.

C&D winner who was a ready winner at Chelmsford (1m) two starts ago and ran respectably off current mark when fifth over C&D last time out. May need a bit more on the back of that but holds place claims.

In a rich vein of form in 2018 and has take. that into this season, winning four times including ready 2L success at Brighton (1m) in August. Not seen since and has 6lb rise to contend with but sets the form standard.

Winner at Newmarket (7f) over the summer but well-held off higher marks, including 5L fifth in 7f handicap on the Rowley Mile last month. Drops 1lb but looks to be in the grip of the handicapper.

Rattled up a hat-trick of wins on the AW last autumn and performing with credit since returning from winter stint in Dubai. Latest 3L fourth in 1m Ascot handicap gives him an each-way shout.

Experienced sort who got off the mark for new yard at Chelmsford two starts ago but couldn't make lower turf mark count at Sandown (1m2f) last month. Mark is considerably higher on this surface so offers limited appeal.

Only has one victory which came back in August 2017. Transferred to this yard after fruitless spell with Iain Jardine but bombed out when last of eight on stable debut over C&D. Others preferred.

Hasn't added to debut success so far and looked slightly out of depth in handicap company recently, including 9L last of five at Yarmouth (1m) last month. Plenty to prove now.

Sole win came at Ffos Las on debut but not a factor in handicap company since, including fading fifth in 1m Newmarket handicap in late September. Best watched on current out of sorts form.

A dual winner at Windsor and Epsom during the Summer but bombed out when bidding for a hat-trick at Wolverhampton two days ago. Quick turnaround but may be in the grip of the handicapper now.

Forecasts

Khuzaam (10/11), Name The Wind (5/1), Lawmaking (8/1), Trolius (8/1), Exec Chef (10/1), Kingston Kurrajong (16/1), Graphite Storm (25/1), The Emperor Within (25/1), Chairmanoftheboard (33/1), De Vegas Kid (33/1), Secret Art (33/1), Dark Jedi (50/1), Apex King (50/1), Golden Wolf (100/1)

Verdict

A handicap where many rivals look closely matched, preference is for KHUZAAM, who showed enough promise last time out behind an impressive winner at Yarmouth to suggest that the wind surgery has the desired effect and is expected to come on for that effort. He looks relatively unexposed at this level as does De Vegas Kid, who has endured a meteoric guide up the handicap ranks last season and this year but has to step up to another with his 5lb rise, while Trolius has been coming back to himself since an unsuccessful winter stint in Dubai and could run on for the places with Lawmaking, who may just be slightly in the grip of the handicapper.
