Remains a maiden following 11 starts but not far off his best form when a 2L fifth at Yarmouth latest. Isn't necessarily improving but has shown enough to be competitive if adapting to the surface on course debut.
Nine-race maiden had shown some potential for Kevin Ryan but has been regressive since joining his current stable and tailed off following lengthy absence latest. Hard to make a case for.
Regressive performer has completely lost his way of late and no signs of a revival any time soon. Yet to win from 12 AW starts so hard to fancy.
Inconsistent maiden in 6 starts on turf to date and now makes AW debut. Yet to match second start third and despite rapidly falling handicap mark is still going to need to find some progress.
Didn't lack for stamina on first try at this trip over this C&D last time but still continues to race a fair bit below her best despite falling mark. Needs to improve to add to sole Newcastle win.
11-race maiden has proved inconsistent so far but will welcome the return to the Flat following two poor efforts over hurdles. Has proven best suited by fast ground so far and makes course debut.
13-race maiden has gone close over 1m2f here in the past but arrives back here badly out of form and unproven at this distance.
Sole win from 33 starts came in a Wolverhampton maiden all the way back in 2016. Arrives here though in decent form off a reduced mark and shaped last start as though worth a try at this far. Can be competitive.
Won over hurdles here in January and returned to the Flat with a good second at this level on turf over 1m6f. Should go well if repeating that performance although track form is a concern.
Just three places and without a win from 23 starts although not disgraced off tough terms in novice company last time. This trip tests his stamina reserves but the majority of his best form has come here and place possibilities again.
Well held on debut for Eve Johnson Houghton and in two runs for this in form yard. Makes handicap debut up in trip and huge improvement needed off this opening mark.
Finally won at Lingfield in May but that's just one from 33 starts. Ideally needs further but arrives in consistent form and likely to be thereabouts once again.
Off the mark over this trip at Brighton latest and his profile is now suggesting he prefers some juice in the ground on turf. Well beaten in three previous visits here which raises some concerns.
Has only beaten two rivals home in three tailed off starts so far. Needs to find vast progress to even be competitive on handicap and AW debut.
Forecasts
Royal Dancer (5/1), Movie Star (5/1), Hummdinger (5/1), Banta Bay (7/1), Red Gunner (7/1), Tulane (10/1), Passing Clouds (12/1), Master Milliner (14/1), Vlannon (16/1), River Dart (25/1), Sweet Nature (25/1), Monsieur Fox (40/1), Binmar's Sexy Lexy (66/1), Finisher (100/1)
Movie Star shaped well on turf last time and it's still early enough days to think she could finally find some improvement if adapting to this new surface. Banta Bay will be staying on when others have cried enough and has the tactical speed to get a good position early. He's a rare winner as is RED GUNNER but it's a race really lacking depth and the latter kept on nicely last time that suggested perhaps his losing run could be ended up to this distance.
- Red Gunner
- Banta Bay
- Movie Star
