The Roderic O'Connor gelding is in a fine run of form right now without getting his head in front. The three-year-old won on yielding to soft ground at Gowran Park earlier this year and has a couple of positive runs on a similar surface at Killarney and Galway recently. The solid and consistent Passing Trade can pose the biggest threat here, another who will benefit from the ground conditions. Distance winner Takeachancejimmy has finished runner up on three occasions since July and is worthy of further consideration.
