Winner of two of his 12 starts, latest of which came in a Listowel contest over 1m7f on yielding ground in June. Ran well to finish second of 12 beaten 5L behind Saglawy last month. Can give a good account without posing serious threat to principals
Solid 136-rated handicap hurdler. Useful type on the level winning four of his 26 starts, though latest of those came in a Leopardstown handicap over 1m7f three years ago off a 2lb higher mark. Needs a few to falter.
Yet to add to his sole Flat win at Killarney over 1m6f in July last year. Leading National Hunt yard have won three of the last 10 renewals of this contest.
C&D winner here in June in a 27k handicap beating 12 rivals ¾L. beaten since over the combination in July before fading in the final furlong in a 2m1f contest at the Galway festival this year. Could well still have more to give.
Won a 15k handicap over C&D in May before continuing to run well in a number of starts off a revised mark over the summer. Stable won this contest in 2012 with Voleuse De Coeurs and worth a market check with adept claimer in the plate.
Hurdling and chasing recently, the Le Harve gelding run up a four-timer on the Flat in a number of British raids over the summer, rising over 14lb in the process. Tough ask off current mark.
Winner of a couple of bumpers over this trip last year before going on to land a Leopardstown maiden over 1m7f in June. One of four in the contest for yard who have won the last two renewals of this contest at this venue.
Both wins on the Flat have come over 1m6f, the latest of which came in a soft ground handicap off a 16lb lower mark at the Galway festival. Second of 10 beaten 4L over 2m2f in a Down Royal handicap when last seen in August but more needed here.

Forecasts
Saglawy (4/1), Davids Charm (5/1), Rock De Baune (7/1), Red Gerry (8/1), Royal Illusion (10/1), Dalton Highway (10/1), Royal Aide (10/1), Nessun Dorma (12/1), Eminent Authority (12/1), Linger (14/1), Baba Boom (14/1), Newcross (14/1), Dinard Rose (20/1), Shamad (20/1), Shakespear'sgalley (25/1), Lever Du Soleil (25/1), Legal Spin (25/1), Golden Spear (25/1)
C&D winner, DALTON HIGHWAY can continue his consistent run of form over the summer by landing the spoils here under top 5lb claimer, Andrew Slattery. The gelding, representing the yard that won this contest in 2012 with Voleuse De Coeurs, can get the better of David's Charm who can emerge as the main danger coming into the race on a four-timer following victories on the Flat and over hurdles in the last month. The Willie Mullins yard landed the last two renewals at this venue before redevelopment of the track in 2016. The trainer runs four here, with Royal Illusion a lively outsider. The Joseph O'Brien-trained Shakespear'sgalley and bottom weight, Dinard Rose should not be underestimated.
