Goes well over this trip with a win and a couple of places but the fact the gelding is racing 17lb lower than last winning mark is a major concern.

Sole win in 21 race career has come on the AW, with the daughter of Invincible Spirit mare still looking for her first win on turf in 16 starts. Needs to step up on recent form to play a part here.

Followed up a first career win at Naas over a similar trip by landing the spoils in a Gowran Park 7f handicap on good ground off a 9lb lower mark when last seen in July. Another bold show looks likely.

Won over this trip in April when winning at the eighth attempt on the AW at Dundalk in April. Without a win in nine starts on turf and faces a tough task in this company.

Off the mark at the fourth time of asking when landing a handicap over a similar trip on the AW at Dundalk last month. Ran Cautious Approach to ½L at the same venue last week and more likely than some to run his race back on turf.

10-race maiden posted a career best effort when running Mecca's Gift to 7L at Hamilton Park when last seen in July finishing second of 12 on his final start for trainer Karl Burke. Needs first-time blinkers to work their magic on stable debut.

Losing run is now totaling 15 and the War Front gelding is now 13lb lower than last winning mark. Could be vulnerable once again to better handicapped sorts.

Has continued in relatively good form since winning a Down Royal 7f handicap on yielding ground in June off a 1lb lower mark. Beaten favourite last time at Cork and could be on an attractive mark.

Consistently running to form in a busy campaign and likely to once more give a good account of himself. Gives the impression we may not have seen the best of him this term.

Busy on the level and over hurdles recently. Sole Flat win on turf in 21 starts came over C&D in October last year off a 7lb higher mark. Out of form but worth a market check as post time approaches.

Eight-race maiden. Her third of 16 beaten 1¾L at Leopardstown in July appears to be a little of a one off in comparison to number of dismal efforts since May. Hard to make case for.

12-race maiden, yet to hit the frame in eight Flat starts on turf. Well held in three desperate efforts this term and needs to improve on even his best form to play a role in this contest.

Verdict

The Denis Hogan-trained FARNESE got off the mark at the fourth time of asking when landing a handicap over a similar trip on the AW at Dundalk before running Cautious Approach to ½L at the same venue earlier this month. The Oasis Dream gelding can get the better of the hat-trick seeking Travelwise who landed a couple of 7f and 1m handicaps when last seen in July. Piper Bomb, third of 14 at Listowel last month, Very Smart, beaten favourite at Cork in September and the solid and consistent Tribal Path would not surprise if delivering bold bids.
