Verdict

The Denis Hogan-trained FARNESE got off the mark at the fourth time of asking when landing a handicap over a similar trip on the AW at Dundalk before running Cautious Approach to ½L at the same venue earlier this month. The Oasis Dream gelding can get the better of the hat-trick seeking Travelwise who landed a couple of 7f and 1m handicaps when last seen in July. Piper Bomb, third of 14 at Listowel last month, Very Smart, beaten favourite at Cork in September and the solid and consistent Tribal Path would not surprise if delivering bold bids.
  1. Farnese
  2. Travelwise
  3. Tribal Path
