Former Simon Crisford inmate. Has run some respectable races in both novice and handicap company, without yet breaking his duck. Returned from over a year off to prove his well being at Lingfield last time. Has a chance, but unproven on soft/heavy.
Well held in both starts. Since gelded, and has now had over a year off. Can only watch.
Big prices and well held in both starts so far.
Has shown promise in both starts so far. Dam won on soft and went close on heavy, so reasons to be optimistic that he can take this opportunity, now dropping back in trip.
€4,000 yearling, £32,000 2yo. Third foal. Half-brother to Spanish 1m2½f winner Pantheur. Dam 7f-1m½f AW winner. Trainer not noted for debut 3yo winners, but it would not surprise if this gelding is still good enough to pick up some prize money.
Well held in all four starts, including on soft, and impossible to fancy.
Forecasts
Karisoke (2/5), Revolutionary Man (4/1), Sommer Katze (6/1), Tilsworth Diamond (28/1), Blue Battalion (50/1), Dansepo (66/1)
A very weak novice event, where Revolutionary Man has to be respected after proving he retains ability last time. However, his former trainer Simon Crisford should have a good handle on the capabilities of Karisoke by comparison, and with optimism he can handle the ground, the three-year-old gets the vote. With little else of note, newcomer Sommer Katze might complete the frame.
- Karisoke
- Revolutionary Man
- Sommer Katze
