Completed a C&D double when winning by a neck from Sharp Operator in April, and would go well with a repeat. Two poor runs on turf in June militate against him, but could bounce back having been given a break since.

Largely reliable, and back to best when beating Red Skye Delight over 1m here last time. Equally effective at this trip, and fair claims off a 3lb higher mark.

Won by a wide margin at Lingfield in July, but she has been below form since. Edging down the weights, but still remains 6lb above that winning mark.

Runner-up three times in handicaps at Bath this season, and possibly best to ignore a rare poor effort there last time, but has never won a handicap and isn't one to trust implicitly.

Beaten a minimum of 21L in three starts to date, and not much encouragement to take in her form, but in good hands, and not impossible she'll leave those poor efforts behind now handicapping in headgear.

Ran a stinker at Bath on penultimate start, but bounced back when nose second of 14 to Fame N Fortune in a 1¼m handicap at Lingfield last time. 28/1 for that race, but unlikely to be available at such long odds here.

Respectable efforts at best in handicaps this year, although did put up one of his better performances when 3¼L fifth of 13 to Fard at Newcastle on penultimate start. Excuses there last time, but others still more convincing.

Sole win came in a 7f Catterick maiden for David O'Meara in May 2016 and plenty of water has passed under the bridge since then. Hinted at a revival in the mud at Beverley last time, but he simply isn't one to trust.

Runner-up in consecutive handicaps at Yarmouth in July, and met trouble when a respectable fifth in a C&D handicap last time behind Muraaqeb. Has a more appealing profile than many, so not taken lightly.

Just modest on balance, but better than the result on return from a break when fourth of 14 to Lauberhorn Rocket in a 1½m handicap at Kempton last time. Blinkers replace a visor here, and she should be thereabouts.

Longstanding maiden who is hard to fancy for win purposes, but has several efforts this year which give her place claims, notably a second over 1m here last month. Not disgraced last time, but stamina for longer trip not guaranteed.

No impact on first two starts for this yard, but belatedly improved when 1¼L second of 14 to Celtic Classic in a 1½m handicap at Kempton last time. Clear of the rest there, and may yet to better, so respected.

Big prices and has beaten just one rival in three starts to date, so hard to make much of a case for her now handicapping from an awkward draw.

Falls Creek (9/2), Waterproof (9/2), Seaquinn (5/1), Golden Deal (7/1), Sharp Operator (7/1), Hidden Dream (10/1), Arlecchino's Arc (10/1), Cat Royale (10/1), Dutch Artist (12/1), Red Gunner (14/1), Mrs Ivy (16/1), Salmon Fishing (20/1), Rocksette (33/1), Indian Sea (50/1)

Verdict

FALLS CREEK has acquitted herself well in her two handicap outings, and yet remains on a basement mark, so she is taken to shed her maiden tag given a good opportunity for her in-form stable. Sharp Operator is respected after a small rise for his 1m win here a fortnight ago, with Hidden Dream and Golden Deal making most appeal of the rest.
