Finished a good third over this trip at Pontefract (good-to-firm) last time out. Races off a 1lb lower mark here and is a leading contender dropping in grade.
Won two of her four AW starts to date and has run well to place on two most recent starts. Beaten 1L when third in a small field event at Lingfield (good-to-firm) last time out and is interesting once more.
Broke her maiden by a short-head on handicap debut over this trip at Kempton two months ago. Finished fourth off this 3lb higher mark upped to 7f at the same track subsequently and the return to this distance is a positive.
Finished runner-up in 7f handicap events here twice in recent months including when beaten 1½L in a seven runner field last time out. Has won three times over C&D in the past.
Handicap mark is falling following some moderate efforts in recent starts. Races off a mark 1lb lower than when winning over this trip at Brighton (good-to-firm) in August.
Well held sixth in a 6f handicap at Salisbury (firm) in July when returning from a break. Cheekpieces and tongue tie (first time) worn that day are both absent on this occasion.
The drop in grade can see BETSEY TROTTER register a victory in this small field fillies only handicap. The selection ran well on turf last time out and she can get the better of Chitra who should appreciate the return to the AW. Third place can go to Turanga Leela who has shown good form at this track in the past.
