Stayed on well to win over an extended 3m trip last time out at Down Royal; apprentice keeps ride and looks one of the more likely types given his overall level of consistency.
Returned to form at Listowel on latest appearance following a tame effort on return from long absence previously; would be winning off his highest ever mark but clearly in good heart and demands respect.
Unable to defy a rise in the weights for a win at Killarney last time out at Listowel in race won by Line Out. Faces rival on better terms here and the pair will be closely matched.
Running well on the Flat at the back end of last year rising to a 78-rated handicapper. Fourth of 18 over hurdles in August, the second of two starts at the Galway festival; more needed in this competitive affair.
Wonderfully consistent over hurdles; stepped up last time to finish behind Line Out at Listowel; cheekpieces applied here and possibly open to more improvement; respected.
Has been showing great consistency on the flat and takes on his first hurdles race for a long while here; certainly has ability and a winner over this trip; worth a market check at the very least though may be handicapped up to his best.
Irregular visits to the track are not helping the once 140-rated hurdler. Looks a tall order based on his most recent effort at Listowel on first outing for new connections; step up in trip not guaranteed to suit.
Impressive winner of a Ballinrobe maiden hurdle last year but has had limitations exposed on two subsequent starts; tough ask on handicap debut but certainly has ability and market moves may be interesting.
Took a step up in trip and a hefty weight rise in his stride to win well at Listowel last month and is certainly on the upgrade; suspicion is latest rise in the handicap will put paid to his winning chance but hard to back against with confidence.
Equally at home over hurdles and fences; never in contention in latest start over hurdles at Ballinrobe; runs off same mark here and a similar performance may be the result.
Has won or been placed in just under half of his hurdle starts but recent form over fences has been below par and difficult to make a strong case for despite being on the same mark as when winning this race in 2016.
Off the mark for connections when landing a handicap hurdle at Galway in October last year off a 10lb lower mark. Not disgraced off revised mark since and ran with credit last time out at Listowel; hard to dismiss easily.
Has proven to be a consistent mare over the last year and has not finished out of the frame on her last five starts; arguably a little too high in the weights but should run her race and has decent each-way claims.
Took advantage of his favourable hurdle handicap mark when winning a big field event at Listowel last time out; more needed here off revised mark but clearly enjoying his racing and is one to note.
Fair effort on latest run (after a long absence over hurdles) when finishing runner-up at Down Royal where he was staying on strongly in the closing stages over an extended 3m trip; one to consider.
In fair form late last year/early this year winning at Limerick over this trip; may face tough task after such a long lay off and market will give the best indication what connections expect.
Has struggled over a variety of trip since landing a maiden hurdle success back in 2016; hard to recommend despite dropping like a stone in the weights.

Quite a competitive heat and a slight preference is given to SKY MARSHAL who has not been unduly punished by the handicapper for his consistency of late and was only headed close home last time out by Line Out who he meets on better terms here. Another consistent type who deserves respect is Goodnightngodbless who is certainly going in the right direction and may give the selection most to do. Veteran Sang Tiger ran one of his better races last time out doing his best work in the closing stages and is one to note.
- Sky Marshal
- Goodnightngodbless
- Sang Tiger
