0-3 on the AW but has improved on turf since last tried on a synthetic surface, so worth another go; 3lb above her only previous winning mark but the rider's claim more than compensates. Absence since July more of a concern.

Picks up a penalty for his 7L win at Pontefract last week but is set for another 6lb rise in the handicap so merits an interest whilst ahead of the handicapper. Being 0-4 on the AW tempers the confidence and a 'PB' on synthetics is required.

A game front-runner with a healthy strike-rate for win and place money at other AW courses; being kept very busy of late but not showing any signs of enthusiasm waning. Slight concern about the Tapeta surface, though.

Form of his Chelmsford win (over 6f) in August reads OK but he's been well held three times since. Never actually raced over the minimum trip before and, with his yard struggling for winners just now, this has the hallmarks of an experimental run.

Formerly trained by Ger Lyons in Ireland, the gelding hasn't managed a win since his racecourse debut at Fairyhouse last May (6f, good to firm) and he was regressive in his homeland. Debuts for a new yard on a career lowest mark; plenty to prove.

Never a factor behind Militia at Ayr a fortnight ago and a lot to find to reverse the places from only 1lb lower in the weights. However, he's won on Tapeta before and is on a competitive mark for the return to the AW, so worth a betting check.

Took advantage of a handy mark to win at Ffos Las in August but hit with a 7lb hike and has struggled from this sort of rating all season. Did win over C&D last December so not out of this if others under perform.

Raced on the same side as Militia at Ayr 14 days ago but couldn't sustain his challenge and slipped to a 4¼L defeat. He's 5lb better off with that rival tonight and it's feasible he can reverse the form; bonus that he's 1-1 on the AW with a C&D win.

Solitary win for Henry Candy came over 6f on good to firm ground at Nottingham last July but yet to really capture the imagination since joining his current yard. Career lowest mark and a 5lb claimer booked still gives him a chance at the weights.

Won a decent enough handicap over 6f at Guernsey in May but held twice since; goes well at this course but the 5f trip is a worry (not won over the minimum distance since 2014); respected but others might be sharper over this distance.

Forecasts

Prestbury Park (11/8), Militia (9/2), Dream House (13/2), Archimedes (7/1), Heavenly Rainbow (15/2), Landing Night (10/1), Show Me The Bubbly (12/1), Choosey (14/1), It Must Be Faith (14/1), Creek Harbour (16/1), Brandy Station (16/1)

Verdict

A lot depends on how much more Militia has to offer after his smooth win at Ayr a fortnight ago; but he's not the most consistent individual and he will need to be live to the gates if he's going to make the running from his wide draw. Therefore, a chance is taken that he might expend enough energy for DREAM HOUSE to reel him in near the finish and the 5lb pull he has from the Western Meeting is a useful tool to call upon. The consistent Archimedes can also do his bit to draw the selection into the race and he's also feared as a live danger. Prestbury Park needs a personal best on the AW, so Brandy Station might be a better value alternative this time.
