Not much to get enthusiastic about from four starts in novice stakes prior to a dire effort on nursery debut; she's a half-sister to a 5f winner but possible she'll do better over slightly further. Big improvement needed now in cheekpieces.

Cheap purchase that improved when tried in a handicap (over C&D) for the first time back in August; his only subsequent effort was also promising enough to merit serious consideration in this company. Yard going well so one to bear in mind.

C&D winner on nursery debut in August but held twice since; reverting to Tapeta can help, though. Yard and jockey both enjoying a profitable spell; another for the shortlist. (Set to race from 5lb above her winning mark.)

Drops in class and her previous course form (and experience) entitle the filly to some respect. Needs to step up now tried in a handicap for the first time; the betting can guide.

Gaining in experience and has snippets of form that suggest she's capable of paying her way. Was faced with a stern test when she finished last of six in a Class 4 nursery last time but this is much more like her level. Dangerous to underestimate.

Well held in all four previous starts; including when ninth of eleven on handicap debut last month. First try over 5f since her debut run at Windsor in July and has a lot to prove.

Placed in her last three starts and not much to find to get competitive again; was well beaten when second on the Polytrack at Lingfield, though, and needs to improve now tried on Tapeta. Still worth a betting check.

Three moderate efforts prior to making an inauspicious start in a handicap (7f, standard, at Kempton) last time out. Plenty to prove now tried over the minimum distance for the first time.

Has bits and pieces of form that entitle her to respect and notable she's the yard's only runner on the card. Weighted to reverse the Musselburgh form with Queenoftheclyde and also ran reasonably well last time out. Not without a chance on AW debut.

Stablemate of Call Me Cheers but, with Tudhope booked for her travel companion, the filly does look the second string on jockey bookings on this occasion. Drops in trip but another with a bit find. (Races from 3lb lower than last run.)

On a workable mark and interesting to note that the jockey rode three winners for this yard (at two separate meetings) on Monday. Big step forward required from this fellow on his nursery bow though.

Forecasts

Call Me Cheers (11/4), Blue Venture (7/2), Queenoftheclyde (9/2), Glamorous Force (13/2), Bockos Amber (8/1), Hollaback Girl (9/1), She's Easyontheeye (11/1), A Go Go (14/1), Koovers (20/1), La Chica Lobo (28/1), Maisie Ellie (66/1)

Verdict

CALL ME CHEERS can reverse C&D form with Queenofstrathclyde as he meets his old rival on 6lb better terms than he was on for a ½L defeat here in August; the gelding looks the stable's main hope with Danny Tudhope doing the steering. Hollaback Girl drops in class and is also worth considering, while She's Easyontheeye has a race within her and could be good value to at least make the frame if handling the surface. Blue Venture can also make it an interesting scrap for the places.
  1. Call Me Cheers
  2. Queenoftheclyde
  3. Hollaback Girl
