Not an easy sort to train highlighted to the fact that he's had just the six starts in the last two years. Slipped back below his last winning mark; his latest start wasn't brimming with promise; still faces a stiff task giving weight away all round.
Took advantage of a drop in grade having shaped well previously to score at Musselburgh (1m4f, good) on his penultimate start. Below form last time at Ayr when asked to race over further, three-time course winner so can't be written off.
Shaped well in handicaps prior to getting off the mark in this sphere with a battling victory at Windsor over just short of today's trip. Overcame the run of the race to win, suspect there's more to come even off a 6lb higher mark; leading player.
2018 winner (one of two C&D wins) he's followed the same preparation path this time winning at Hamilton in the same race he won last year. He's actually 3lb lower than last year and it looks to be around this time of the year he starts to fire.
One of a trio that her yard run in this she's already been successful over this C&D earlier in the year in a lower grade. Consistent since that win (twice in races here) she's back up in trip; hard to ignore at this track, stable have a strong hand.
Gained reward for some consistent efforts in handicaps when benefitting from a patient ride in a strongly-run Newbury 1m2f handicap off 6lb lower. Confirmed/bettered that form in two starts since; still looks on a fair mark, one for the shortlist.
Bounced back to winning ways in atrocious conditions at Chester in June over this trip; now finds himself 2lb lower. Not really threatened since but very well handicapped on his old form; not one to ignore if conditions did get really testing.
Dual juvenile handicap winner when with Ed Dunlop she's ran consistently this year without winning for William Haggas. Disappointed on her first run for this yard, may have needed the run; didn't convince on her previous try at this trip though.
Scored twice as a 2yo at up to 1m but hasn't really fired this year over a variety of trips despite a falling mark. May well have not been seen to best effect last time and dropped a further 2lb; something may click soon.
Two 1m2f wins on very different surfaces showed her in a good light during a very busy spell which ended in disappointing fashion at Nottingham. Given time to rejuvenate since that run in August she still features on a fair mark, yet to try 1m4f.
