Off the mark at the first time of asking when winning a C&D maiden by 1L earlier this month. Represents a top stable with a 43% strike-rate (18/42) of late and he looks likely to play a leading role once more.
Slowly away and finished a well beaten ninth of 11 in a 6f maiden at Wolverhampton when debuting earlier this month. Probably best watched at present.

COBBER KAIN is the sole previous winner in the field and he looks capable of following up his debut victory here by taking this novice event. The selection can get the better of Dutugamunu who is a half-brother to a useful juvenile while third place can go to Licorice who wears cheekpieces for the first time.
