Rattled off a hat-trick in 2017 and has seemingly been very unlucky not to add to that tally subsequently. Produced another big effort when third of 18 at York last time out and ought to be right there from the same mark again.
C&D winner who has won twice at Windsor so far this campaign. However, form has tailed off a little of late and others may be better handicapped.
A four-time C&D winner who got the better of another course specialist in a five runner event in July. Held his form well in his next two starts and may have done too much too soon at York last time; has never won from a mark this high though.
Won twice at the start of 2018 season and while he's not won since, it was a return to form when only beaten a neck at Ripon last time out. Up 3lb and back above his highest winning mark as a result; perhaps at his best with more cut in the ground.
7f specialist who rattled off a hat-trick last year that included a course success. Has not added to that in four starts this year and while drying ground will suit, he remains 5lb above his last winning mark.
Has been kept typically busy for one from this yard, winning four times already this season. Will love the drying ground but signs the handicapper has caught up with him of late and it won't be easy to dominate from this draw.
Signed off 2018 with a pair of wins at Newcastle. However, hasn't looked entirely straightforward so far this season and only beat one home at York last time out; opposable from this mark.
Course winner back here in June and gained a third win of the season when justifying favouritism in a four runner event at Thirsk last time out. Up 3lb in a tougher heat here but less exposed than some; first-time cheekpieces may help eke out more.
Rattled off a Beverley four-timer at the start of the campaign and got her head back in front at a big price at Thirsk last month. Beaten a long way in two subsequent starts from her revised mark but step back up to 1m will help.
Sole win came in a novice event at Newcastle in October but has largely held his form since, running well at 7f here prior to a respectable sixth of 16 at York last time. First-time cheekpieces and a useful 3lb claimer are both potential positives.

Kynren (7/4), Irreverent (5/1), Waarif (11/2), Boston George (9/1), Byron's Choice (10/1), Hortzadar (10/1), Club Wexford (11/1), Alfred Richardson (12/1), Smile A Mile (12/1), Gulf Of Poets (22/1), Mount Ararat (25/1), Kylie Rules (28/1)
KYNREN has run some huge races so far this summer without managing to quite get his head in front but with his sights lowered here, there's every chance he can get himself back in the winners' enclosure. The three-year-old pair, Boston George and Irreverent both have the potential to improve in first-time headgear and they rate as the main dangers to the selection.
