Lightly-raced gelding who won on just the second start of his career at Sligo (1m2½f). This will be his first appearance since finishing 10th of 16 at Redcar (1m) back in April and also his opening run for his new yard. Best to watch for now.
Scored three times earlier in his career. He has taken a drop down the weights this year following some below-best performances. Could only finish seventh of 11 last time at Musselburgh (1m). Remains off the same mark. Others are preferred.
Was successful at Wetherby (1m2f) back in May. Has not performed badly in three starts since then, including on her latest run at Ripon (1m2f) where she was third of six, beaten by 2L. Has gone down 1lb in the weights. One to consider.
On a hat-trick bid here following wins at Beverley (1m½) and Ripon (1m2f) respectively. Is now up 2lb to a new career high mark, however, she is running well so she remains a leading contender to continue her hot form.
Has scored twice on the AW but is 0-12 on turf. He was second of eight over this distance at Redcar back in May. Needs to bounce back from his latest effort at Thirsk (1m4f) where he was ninth of 11 runners.
Started his campaign with success at Haydock (1m2f) in a 15 runner field. Has struggled on his latest two appearances, including last time at Ripon (1m2f) where he was seventh of eight. Down 2lb but others appeal more.
Broke his maiden on his first run of the year at Beverley (1m2f). His form has dipped recently, including on his latest start at Yarmouth (1m3½f) where he was last of five. Visor is on for the first time. Back to his favoured distance. Big player.
Recorded the fifth win of his career at Beverley (1m2f) three starts ago. He was disappointing last time over this C&D when he was fifth of nine after going off as the 15/8 favourite. Not to be discounted from bouncing back.
Forecasts
Glasses Up (15/8), Railport Dolly (5/2), Anna Bunina (11/2), Billy Roberts (7/1), Fraser Island (8/1), Aiya (14/1), Briardale (25/1), Sheberghan (33/1)
ANNA BUNINA is in the best form of her career and she can complete a hat-trick of successes in this race. The filly has proved how tough she is on her last two starts so she is going to take some passing. Railport Dolly has done little wrong this season in what has been a consistent campaign and off her latest mark, you have to fancy her to go close, while Fraser Island is returning to the distance he was last successful at so expect an improved performance.
- Anna Bunina
- Railport Dolly
- Fraser Island
