Winner over this trip at Kempton (AW) and Haydock (good to firm) during 2018. Hasn't sparked at all in two 2019 runs but handicapper drops him 4lb now and could bounce back.
Meydan winner over this trip in January, fair effort afterwards in Dubai and pleasing run at Ascot (6f, good to firm) this month on UK comeback. Entitled to be sharper now and on fair mark.
Both wins so far on turf over a mile, unknown quantity trying sprinting on debut for new handler after 287 days off; betting will guide.
C&D winner in January and didn't run badly back here last month. All six career wins on artificial surfaces. Mixed bag lately but suited by return to this sphere.
Nine-time winner on AW tracks from 34 runs including over this C&D in February 2018. No win since November but has now dropped below previous win-mark and could go well.
Hasn't run on AW since 2017 but is a former Tapeta winner. Twice gone close in handicaps at Chester and Haydock recently over further. Should be in the mix when it matters.
Won a C&D Claiming Handicap last month, failed to back that up in similar soft-ground Haydock race since. Possibly can go better back around here.
Son of Toronado won a 7f Kempton novice last season, well held in three Newmarket runs this term and has been gelded / undergone wind operation since last spotted in July. Sports tongue-tie and worth a second look.
Fair maiden last year, won first three starts in 2019 - two of them over this C&D. Outclassed in Listed Naas event in July but could easily bounce back here. .
3-9 on the AW previously having won at Lingfield and Kempton over this trip last year (both Class 4 races). Not in bad form recently and could go well after decent effort five days ago at Lingfield (7f, good to firm) when caught late on.

Almufti (3/1), Shimmering Dawn (4/1), Alemaratalyoum (13/2), Desert Doctor (7/1), Unabated (7/1), Warsaw Road (7/1), Global Tango (10/1), Dream Today (14/1), Eljaddaaf (14/1), Mythmaker (25/1), Restive Spirit (50/1)
Having started the year with three straight wins (two over C&D), SHIMMERING DAWN was outclassed in Listed company last time out in Ireland. James Tate's filly is 3-3 in handicaps however and may still have more to offer from this mark. Global Tango ran well from the front five days ago and isn't overlooked, while Dream Today should be all the sharper for his recent Ascot comeback and is feared. Alemaratalyoum and previous C&D scorer Desert Doctor also go on the shortlist.
- Shimmering Dawn
- Dream Today
- Desert Doctor
