Kingman filly whose dam was a 1m4f winner. Closely related to Group One winner Timepiece as well as multiple winner Father Time. Exciting pedigree and worth a betting check.

Looks to be getting better with racing and showed promise when fourth of 19 in 6f Cork maiden at the start of the month. Step up in trip should suit and likely to have more to offer.

Hard Spun filly. Punished for slow start on debut but stayed on well to take fourth at Cork (1m) last month. Drop in trip may not be ideal but entitled to respect on that effort.

Galileo filly. Full sister to the useful Egyptian Warrior and Group One winner Kingsbarns. Likeable pedigree but not the first string on jockey bookings.

Galileo filly. Half-sister to useful 6f performer Alphabet and dam was a winner over this distance. Should go well for a trainer in good form.

Deep Impact filly and is a half-sister to various winners, most notably juvenile 7f winner Smuggler's Cove. Interesting contender on debut and looks to be the stable's main hope.
Cheap purchase as a yearling. Foostepsinthesand filly whose dam wasn't able to win on the track but is related to the high-class Golan. Best watched on debut.

£7,500 purchase as a yearling. By a Prix Du Jockey Club winner but pedigree is mediocre at best. Readily opposable.

Dawn Approach filly. Dam raced once on the track but has a regal pedigree, including closely related to 2008 Derby winner New Approach. Notable if market support.

Siyouni filly. Dam stayed 1m2f and is a half-sister to 1m winner as a juvenile Massaff. Pedigree looks modest on paper and best watched on racecourse debut.

€6,500 yearling by Rock Of Gibraltar and is a half-sister E Cosi Sia. Dam was a winner over 7f so has a likeable pedigree but up against some classy rivals in this.

€130,000 Kitten's Joy Filly. Dam offered very little on the track but was related to a Grade Three winner in the US. Notable if there is betting support.

Lope De Vega filly. Closely related to the smart performer Shakespearean and 1m winner Shannon Soul. Has a likeable pedigree but may come against some classier rivals in this.

Horse silk
50/1
Masterofthehorse filly. Dam was a winner over 1m3f and a Group Three scorer over in Germany. This trip looks a bit sharp and could be better in the future.

Second reserve. Ran well for a long way before folding slightly in 7f Curragh maiden on debut. Likely to have more progression but yard's current form is a concern.

Verdict

CHASING THE DAWN offers some of the most experience in the field and hasn't been disgraced to date, including on her latest start. She should thrive off the step up in trip and should make her experience count against some interesting debutante's. Fancy Blue and Elizabethofaragon have good-looking pedigrees which suggests they could compete at a higher level in time while Elite Craft shaped with promise on her debut and is entitled to come on for that effort, but could be found wanting at this trip.
  1. Chasing The Dawn
  2. Elizabethofaragon
  3. Elite Craft
