Cheap €1,000 purchase as a yearling. Sire was a Group Three winner on the track and dam was lightly raced. Yard rarely has juvenile winners so offers little appeal.
€45,000 purchase. Sire was useful as a juvenile and is a half-sister to 2016 Irish 1,000 Guineas winner Jet Setting. Dam stayed 1m so has an eye-catching pedigree but may be a long-term project.
Kodiac Colt. Dam was a winner of 1m2f and related to 7f winner Racer Forever. This trip is likely to be too sharp however.
Homebred Kodiac colt. Half-Brother to 6f winner Sailors Swan and hurdles winner Solo Saxophone. Worth a betting check on debut and does hail from a trainer-jockey combination who are in good form.
Zoffany colt. Half-brother to 1m winner Alexander James and Dam was a winner over this distance in France. Entitled to respect in ordinary looking race but yard's form this season is a concern.
£140,000 yearling purchase. Starspangledbanner colt who is closely related to 7f winner Boom Star. Pedigree has various winners in it and not to be underestimated for these connections.
Improved greatly on poor debut effort when fifth of 15, beaten 5L in 7f Gowran Park contest on latest start. Offers experience against less exposed rivals and entitled to improve once again.
Well-bred type who ran a fine race on debut to finish 1L third in 6f Cork maiden last month. Arguably raced on the wrong side that day for a long way and no reason to suggest why he cant progress again.
Stepped up markedly from debut effort with 4L sixth at Limerick (6f, good) in early July. Has been gelded since but looks to be the stable's second string on jockey bookings.
Cost £65,000 as a yearling. By No Nay Never and is a half-brother to winners Would You Believe and 5f victory Boradhaven Dream. Notable if there is betting support.
Beaten a nose in Down Royal maiden on penultimate start and ran another creditable race when third of 19 in 6f Curragh maiden at the beginning of August. His form sets the standard and looks the one to beat.
Kyllachy gelding. Raced too freely on debut and paid the price when weakening to finish 15th at Navan (5f, good to firm). That was only 11 days ago and offers limited appeal.
Lope De Vega colt and by a dam who was a 6f winner on the track. Wears a tongue strap for racecourse debut but yard is having a winning spell at the moment.
Full brother to the very smart Lancaster Bomber and showed some signs of promise when second in 6f Listowel maiden last week. Quickly turned out and may have more to offer with racing.
Forecasts
Koolasice (11/4), Nullifier (5/1), Eloy D'amerval (11/2), War Leader (11/2), Johan Zoffani (6/1), Recall The Show (8/1), Kodigreen (8/1), King Of Stars (14/1), Finans Bay (20/1), Shooting Spirit (25/1), Free Treaty (33/1), Kosman (66/1), Sebs Star (66/1), Blue Sky Thinker (100/1)
RECALL THE SHOW has been knocking at the door in his two latest starts and ran out of puff at a crucial stage on his latest start. This easy 6f should be set to suit and he can continue his progression by belatedly getting off the mark. War Leader is also improving with racing and could be dangerous if the race is run to suit, while Koolasice showed promise at Cork last month but the form of that race is a mild concern.
- Recall The Show
- War Leader
- Koolasice
