Evidently been hard to train, and he cannot be fancied at all after being eased down when tailed off on comeback at Chelmsford (1m; standard). Look elsewhere for far stronger alternatives.
Did well to finish in the money at Lingfield (7f; good to firm) when behind The Groove last time after suffering trouble in-running. Could get closer to that rival now, and has to enter calculations.
Beat Fantasy Justifier over C&D two starts back, and then he was denied in hat-trick bid at Salisbury (1m; good) last time when upped to 1m. Drop in trip will suit better, and he has won off this mark before.
One of two runners in this race for connections. Not a frequent winner, but has posted some excellent placed efforts of late, most recently over 6f here the last twice. Needs to prove himself over 7f though as he steps back up in trip.
Regained the winning thread when stepping back up in trip at Lingfield (7f; good to firm) last time out. Only 2lb higher in the weights which seems fair, and he has won off higher marks in the past.
8lb rise for bloodless C&D success back in July has proved insurmountable for him in three subsequent starts. Still 5lb above last winning mark and showing no signs of a return to form lately so can only be watched for now.
Looked regressive since making an encouraging seasonal reappearance, which was emphasised last time out when she failed to beat a single rival at Brighton (7f; good to firm). Losing run is beginning to mount up also.
Has made a brilliant transition to the handicap sphere, failing to finish out of the first three in her last four starts. Not beaten far when third at Brighton (6f; good to firm) last week. Step up to 7f could unlock more improvement.
Scored over C&D earlier in the season, and after a quiet spell, she returned to form when runner-up (again over C&D) at the start of the month. Place claims again off 2lb higher.
Irish runner who hasn't been seen since June, but narrowly failed in follow-up bid when runner-up at Down Royal (7f; yielding). That was his first run at 7f, and he could play a prominent role if fit enough.
Unexposed handicap newcomer who has hinted at ability in trio of maiden runs. Should find this easier than the quality of races he has been tackling. Likely to enjoy plenty of success at this level, and is on the shortlist.
Produced a pair of really encouraging runs here, including when successful over 6f last month. Switch to the AW at Kempton (1m; standard to slow) backfired when he failed to beat a rival there most recently. Return to this track may rejuvenate him.

Canford Art (5/4), Smokey Lane (11/2), Bounty Pursuit (13/2), Plumette (7/1), The Groove (10/1), Foxy Femme (11/1), Danecase (16/1), Fantasy Justifier (16/1), Gold Hunter (20/1), Itmakesyouthink (20/1), Satchville Flyer (25/1), Dreaming Of Paris (33/1), Initiative (50/1)
A good turnout for this handicap, and it is subsequently an incredibly competitive contest. After returning to form over C&D when runner-up last time out, Plumette must be considered. It is no coincidence that his two best efforts of this season have both came at this track. The handicap debutante Itmakesyouthink is also worth a mention after she ran respectable races behind some talented sorts in maidens, but the vote goes the way of FOXY FEMME. The selection has rose 9lb since switched to handicaps and posted another good effort when third at Brighton last week. The step up in trip should bring about more progress and she can regain the winning thread.
- Foxy Femme
- Itmakesyouthink
- The Groove
