Sent off favourite last week on nursery bow over 6f here, getting away slowly and pulling quite hard before staying on four fourth. Can have a say if settling better upped in distance.
Didn't shape badly on nursery bow at Wolverhampton last month over 6f (three qualifying runs over 5f). May be more progress to come now and positive jockey booking. Watch betting.
Big prices in three starts so far, rarely getting any sort of blow in. Has significant progress to make on the nursery bow to get in the mix.
Requinto gelding is a half-brother to three winners. Better run last time in 6f AW novice at Lingfield, worth a betting check now going into nurseries first time after run. Blinkers added.
Cost 85,000 gns and yard's two-year-old's having a good year, but this daughter of Exceed and Excel must improve on form shown in three turf runs in maidens. Sports a visor now.
War Command filly with few positives in six starts to date, including near 10L defeat over C&D five days ago. Hood added here, plenty to work on.
Oasis Dream colt, not making any progress in eight-race career to date, including three mediocre runs on AW tracks. Has plenty improvement to find here.
By Dandy Man, has only managed to beat a solitary rival in three qualifying runs. Represents decent yard, but may need some time now tackling nurseries.
Has some winners in the family but colt has been unimpressive in three starts, going off triple-figure odds on each occasion. Hard to see required improvement coming on first foray into a nursery.
Finished fourth of 12 on nursery bow over 6f here last month (beaten 7L); didn't improve on that back here since. Tackles 7f for the first time now with improvement to find.
Has proved tough work in three runs over 6f so far; leaves behind novice company and must improve considerably to get in the mix.
Four-race maiden, showed best form over 5f at Beverley in July (needs more) but was very disappointing last time over a mile at Thirsk on nursery bow.
Forecasts
Castel Angelo (11/4), Treaty Of Dingle (4/1), Comvida (9/2), Interrupted Dream (7/1), Leave Em Alone (14/1), Parker's Boy (14/1), The Works (16/1), Dandy Dancer (20/1), Grace Plunkett (25/1), Koovers (25/1), Farewell Kiss (25/1), Star Of St Louis (66/1)
The likes of Treaty Of Dingle and Grace Plunkett have hinted they'll have races in them before long while Castel Angelo should play a part if settling better early in the race. The standard isn't an exacting one however and so a chance is given to KOOVERS on first start in a nursery. He shaped better at Lingfield last time and may go well in first-time blinkers here for Luke Morris.
- Koovers
- Castel Angelo
