Seven-race maiden had been consistent until a poor run at Yarmouth latest. Needs to leave that behind on ground he's not encountered before but suited by return to this trip.
Gelded son of Redoute's Choice has struggled to make an impression in three starts to date. Step up in distance should help but hard to be confident about on handicap debut.
Best suited by quick ground as shown by his sole win when with George Baker last year. Now 3lb lower but well below form on his last four wins and ground a concern.
Remains a longstanding 24-race maiden and he's continued to struggle in three starts for new yard. Hard to be confident in.
Twice a winner last year but that's the lot from 42 starts overall. Tailed off on all four starts lately and remains best watched for now.
5lb below last success but an infrequent winner nowadays. Kept on over 1m2f last time and that close effort would give him hope of another try at this far. Possibilities again.
Hurdles winner in January and returns to the Flat seemingly improved. Suited by cut in the ground and beaten a nose over this C&D off 4lb higher last year. Big player if primed after a break.
Eight-race maiden but has gone close the last twice. Stayed on well over 1m2f here last time that suggested there's more to offer at this trip and suited by the conditions. Leading player.
Remains a maiden after four starts and would need to improve on his moderate fifth on his handicap debut and needs to prove this ground suits.
Seven-race maiden may have been flattered by a slow pace when third at Newbury two starts back and proving hard to predict. Capable but others look more reliable and ground a query.
Remains a 13-race maiden and his two performances for his new yard over two miles and 1m2f have been very disappointing. Easy to overlook.
Gelded son of Maxios has been very well held in three starts over 1m2f so far. Plenty of improvement required on handicap debut.
Remains a maiden following five underwhelming and well beaten efforts so far including on stable debut. Hard to fancy until better signs.
Left her previous three starts readily behind when making a winning handicap debut over this distance at Chepstow. Up 5lb but hit the line strongly and likely there's plenty more to come at this level. Leading hope.
Form has a regressive look since entering handicaps and failed to impress in a selling handicap latest. Easy to look elsewhere for now.
Irish raider and a nine-race maiden. Tries this trip fro the first time on stable debut and while market support would be interesting on his best form, he is proving hard to predict.
Forecasts
Kasuku (5/2), Early Strike (3/1), Just Once (11/2), Visor (7/1), Logan's Choice (10/1), Purple Jazz (12/1), Poucor (16/1), Pecorino (16/1), Good Impression (18/1), Brooklyn Boy (18/1), Star Guide (20/1), Pike Corner Cross (20/1), Flying Moon (28/1), Magojiro (33/1), Mister Fawkes (50/1), Famous Dynasty (66/1)
Kasuku is an obvious challenger off the back of his winning debut for a stable in form and she's open to clear progress. Slight preference is for POUCOR who was better when last seen over hurdles and returns to the Flat well handicapped. Just Once comes here off the back of two good runs and if she continues in that form then a breakthrough win shouldn't be far away.
- Poucor
- Kasuku
- Just Once
