Real promise about her final qualifier at Thirsk (5f) so handicap debut at Ripon was disappointing but perhaps 6f for the first time was the reason. Not ruled out altogether back at 5f.
Managed a couple of thirds in ordinary novice races but well held in sellers at Redcar and Ripon before moving yards ahead of this handicap debut. Doesn't appear favourably treated.
Looked up against it on handicap bow at Catterick and duly struggled there on soft ground upped to 6f. Over 5f on a sounder surface and at a lower level here she should fare better.
Showed promise in three novice contests including 50/1 third (well held) at Ayr when last seen back in May. Looked the sort to do better when sent handicapping so respected here and market support after the layoff would be interesting.
The only previous winner courtesy of a Wolverhampton score over this trip two starts back and she almost followed up next at Sandown over 5f too. Upped another 1lb but easily the most appealing profile here.
Ended qualifiers with a good second at Beverley so his C&D eighth of nine on handicap debut was a little disappointing. Still quite early days however and blinkers could aid the cause.
Fifths here and at Musselburgh since sent handicapping give him a little to find but handicapper is aiding his cause so not impossible he makes the frame now for the first time.
Only beaten two rivals in three combined starts coming into this, her handicap debut. Best watched until seeing a glimmer of hope.
Yet to make the frame in seven starts but his fourth at Wolverhampton latest was form good enough to have a squeak here especially given he was short of room at the top of the straight.
Only beat three rivals in as many starts coming into this so although lowly opening mark can help she remains best watched.
Having her ninth start so fully exposed and recent efforts suggest she isn't progressing having been third at Ripon back in July. Blinkers now tried but others preferred.
Forecasts
Queenoftheclyde (11/4), Invincible Bertie (3/1), Shepherds Way (5/1), Ice Skate (11/2), Puerto Sol (10/1), Comeatchoo (16/1), She's Easyontheeye (18/1), Chocoholic (18/1), Maybellene (22/1), Summer Heights (40/1), Sweet Embrace (50/1)
As the only previous winner in the field QUEENOFTHECLYDE is appealing and having also run the best race of any of these last time out where she was second at Sandown Karl Burke's filly looks a rock solid option in a weak nursery. Puerto Sol may prove the biggest danger if ready after a break having shown decent form back in the spring and he looks more likely to threaten the selection than exposed pair Comeatchoo and Invincible Bertie.
