Got his head back in front at Cork earlier in the campaign but struggling from his revised mark since and probably better with some cut in the ground over further than this trip. Wears first-time cheekpieces.

Made it three wins for the campaign when landing a valuable handicap at the Curragh last time out. getting the better of Current Option. Revised mark and drop back in trip make life a little tougher though; each-way claims.

Made it three wins from seven starts in Listed class at Killarney in July but well beaten at the Curragh last time out when sent off co-favourite for a Group 3. Not seen to best effect that day and may yet have more to give.

Off the mark on debut for this yard over this trip at Thirsk in May. Generally consistent since and better than the finishing position at Chelmsford last time but wide draw may scupper his chance.

Won back-to-back races in June and has shaped like this mark may not be beyond her subsequently. Looks like a 7f specialist and possibly in too deep in Listed company last time; respected here from a workable mark.

Won a pair of races at Musselburgh last year and carried on her progression with some highly promising placed efforts earlier in the campaign. However, has seemingly gone off the boil since and still 6lb below her last winning handicap mark.

Arrives here bidding for a hat-trick having won big field handicaps at York and then Thirsk. 7lb rise for the latter perhaps on the harsh side though and best form has come with cut in the ground.

Won twice in France and off the mark on debut for this yard at Cork last month. Didn't look entirely straightforward at Listowel earlier this week but first-time cheekpieces may help on that front.

Won a three-runner event at Fairyhouse but has failed to beat a rival home in two subsequent starts. Back up in trip with first-time visor on but hard to fancy after his latest two starts.

Hasn't won since the start of last season and he's been in and out of form for his new yard. Beaten a long way from home at Listowel last time out and wide draw is off-putting.

Landed a novice event on his fifth career start at Thirsk for William Haggas and has been in fine form in two starts for this yard, second to Jassaar last time out at the Curragh. Drop back in trip no concern and arrives better off at the weights.

C&D winner on final start of last year and shaped like a drop back in trip was in order when fourth to Jassaar last time out. Wide draw not ideal though and returns on a career high handicap mark.

Has won three handicaps so far this campaign but signs the handicapper has caught up with him on his recent efforts. Yard a little below form and others preferred.

Won her maiden over C&D before landing a four-runner event at Limerick next time out but that looks like good placement subsequently and barely beaten a rival home in her last couple of starts. First-time visor on.

Dual course winner who won over this trip for the first time on seasonal returnearlier in the campaign. Well beaten at Listowel last time out though and hard to fancy from out of the handicap here.

Forecasts

Bopedro (5/1), Current Option (11/2), Shawaamekh (6/1), Jassaar (6/1), Ice Cold In Alex (15/2), Admirality (8/1), Silverkode (8/1), Viadera (10/1), Black Magic Woman (20/1), Innamorare (20/1), Ducky Mallon (25/1), Crotchet (25/1), Trading Point (25/1), Marshall Jennings (33/1), Morpho Blue (33/1), Mokhalad (33/1), Klute (33/1)

Verdict

VIADERA is better than what she showed last time out at the Curragh and a return to the form that saw her win two of her previous three starts should see her get competitive in what has to be considered a tricky finale. Current Option and Jassaar are both closely matched on form with the former narrowly preferred with the prospect of more progress to come.
  1. Viadera
  2. Current Option
  3. Jassaar
