Useful two-year-old but handicapper by and large had his measure at three although to be fair he has been set some stiff tasks. This more realistic and should be in the hunt for a place now.
7f winner at two ran well enough in third in handicaps at Ascot and Newmarket the last twice over this 6f trip and also ran with credit in only previous visit here. Should make his presence felt.
Clearly happiest here with both career scores over C&D and he was beaten a short head at the track penultimately before his third at Wolverhampton latest. Ultra-consistent on AW and should again be in the thick of things.
Won first three races at two but struggled this term and yet to make the frame in five races. This easier than York race he contested last but having finished 19th of 22 there others appeal more.
Winless in eight this season but his third of 15 to what looked a well handicapped rival at Ascot latest was a more than respectable effort given he was beaten just ½L. Hopes higher after that so shortlisted here.
Dual two-year-old winner may not have lasted 7f under front-running tactics at Newmarket latest so is better judged on his earlier Yarmouth third of five. Blinkers offer hope for required improvement.
Kempton winner in April finished a close third and second respectively here the last twice. Handicap rises again but could improve having been gelded now so rates a leading contender.
AW record almost impeccable with a Newcastle win, a C&D win and a narrow C&D second. Fair efforts on turf the last twice but much more appealing here and high on the shortlist.
Forecasts
Heath Charnock (3/1), Intuitive (10/3), Woven (5/1), Blonde Warrior (6/1), Prince of Rome (8/1), Concierge (8/1), Junius Brutus (9/1), Quiet Endeavour (16/1)
The bottom pair in the weights INTUITIVE and Heath Charnock are closely matched on their C&D clash on the 6th of July but Heath Charnock was a head in front of his rival that day and is 1lb better off so he gets the narrow vote. Concierge ran well behind what looked a well treated rival at Ascot latest so he can't be ignored either.
