Looked to be turning a new corner with encouraging efforts at Beverley and Bath but bombed out off revised mark in 1m Redcar handicap last time out. A bit to prove now but hails from powerful yard.
Five-race maiden and regressed from recent promising effort with 9L fifth in 1m2f Ayr handicap. Does remain lightly raced however and blinkers are turned to in bid to change fortunes.
Shed his maiden tag three starts ago at Bath but below his best at that track with 6L third in 1m contest. Needs to bounce back but given some leniency by the handicapper.
Dual winner at Brighton and Sandown this summer and wasn't disgraced off revised mark when third in 1m Haycock handicap last time. Looked unsuited by testing conditions there and entitled to go well again.
Windsor winner in July and that looked a fluke until posting promising fourth over C&D in late August. Dropped in the weights and return to longer trip should suit. Could be a step ahead of the handicapper.
Ffos Las novice winner last season but well held in handicap company to date. 5L defeat in 1m2f Sandown handicap offers some promise but still has work to do.
Thrice-raced maiden. Didn't show any necessary improvement when eighth in 7f Chester novice on latest start. May do better in handicap company but best watched for now.
Very inconsistent now and has finished tailed off in his last three starts. Raced too keenly at Redcar (1m6f, good) last time and takes a drastic step down in trip for this.
Forecasts
Bring Us Paradise (15/8), Memphis Bleek (4/1), Welcoming (9/2), Conspiritor (15/2), Black Medick (8/1), Thorn (14/1), Ambersand (14/1), Gennaro (20/1)
BRING US PARADISE has been in fine form compared to some of his rivals this summer and his latest effort can be forgotten about given the bottomless surface. Back on good ground fo this, he has the scope to progress under a talented rider from what looks already a lofty mark. Conspiritor looked to be in the grip of the handicapper last time out and has been given a chance to bounce back while Black Medick has proven to be a hard horse to catch but returns to a dangerous mark in this.
