Doesn't have a lot of miles on the clock, sole Flat success came back in 2015, though ran good second over hurdles on last month's stable bow. Interesting if money arrives dropping into Class 6 company.
Nottingham win over 1m2f last summer remains sole Flat success in 16 attempts. Positive efforts here over that trip and at Yarmouth (1m3½f) prior to disappointing effort as favourite at Brighton 23 days ago. Something to be proved after that run.
Successful at Lingfield on soft ground back in May, couldn't follow that up at Wolverhampton though (very disappointing) and only ran moderately last time. Hard to predict but on balance others make more appeal.
Soft-ground win over 1m2f here in June last year remains his most recent success. Has dropped 10lb below that winning mark now, if able to find his best stuff again.
Nicely bred Shamardal colt, fair fourth on handicap debut at Haydock (1m2f, soft; 11-1) last time. Retains scope for better things and goes up again in trip this time.
Best run so far when landing C&D apprentice handicap 10 days ago with more than 3L to spare. Escapes a penalty and may take stopping if in same mood now.
15-race maiden in both codes, well held over 1m6f at Salisbury last time out and makes little appeal again in this field.
In decent form since joining this trainer, including a win at Bath in June. No match for front two whne third at Brighton last time out and has stamina query over this trip.
Maiden of eight starts, twice gone close at Ffos Las recently over 1m2f/1m4f, including finishing with 2L of Bug Boy last month. Not without some claims here.
Just the seven runs so far and now starting out for third trainer. Far from disgraced in two C&D runs this season, though he will surely need to find a bit more to break his duck.
Five-time winner in 2018, including a brace over this C&D. Has not exactly been threatening this year (five runs over track and trip included) but handicap mark is much-reduced if able to perk his ideas up.

Bug Boy (13/8), Born To Frolic (11/2), Chinese Alphabet (7/1), Helian (7/1), Paddy The Chef (9/1), Neff (9/1), Ourmullion (10/1), General Brook (11/1), Essenaitch (14/1), Searching (25/1), Boutan (25/1), Magic Shuffle (28/1), Ocean Gale (33/1), Bostonian (50/1)
Not the easiest finale for punters and it might just pay to go with the obvious choice. BUG BOY had plenty to spare when scoring over C&D 10 days ago and escapes a penalty with that having been an apprentice race. He clearly likes it here and should have standout claims from his unchanged mark. The maiden Chinese Alphabet has form that ties in with the selection and shouldn't be ruled out hastily. General Brook and Essenaitch both having winning track form and are on very appealing marks if finding their best stuff, while any money for Searching would be noted returning to the Flat in this grade for the first time.
