Son of Le Havre made an eye-catching debut when leading and travelling well before being carried left late on by the eventual winner. Drop of half a furlong no issue and sets a clear standard.
Oasis Dream colt and a first foal to an unraced sister to Oaks and Irish Oaks winner Sariska. Stable in good form but likely she's going to need a much stiffer test of stamina in time.

Son of Golden Horn and a first foal to a maiden. Stable a touch quiet with their debutantes this year but more than capable of readying a newcomer, Worth a precautionary check in the market.

Dubawi colt and the first foal out of a Listed-placed 10.5f AW winner from a good middle distance family. Never got involved on debut and would need need to find improvement, however represents an in-form and strong stable.
Son of Kodiac cost 62,000 gns as a yearling and 150,000 gns as a juvenile; an eighth foal and a brother to 6f juvenile winner Terror and a half-brother to three winners. Interesting debutante but stable a bit quiet with their juveniles.
Has only beaten one rival home in two very well beaten starts so far and unlikely to find the huge improvement required to be competitive.

Forecasts

Warning Shot (13/8), Black Comedy (7/2), Diyari (4/1), Court Of Appeal (15/2), Saeer (8/1), Amaan (20/1), Global Esteem (25/1), Molinari (25/1), Bottom Bay (33/1), Fear Naught (33/1), Itoldyoutobackit (100/1)

Verdict

There's only three runners with previous form so the market is going to be very interesting, however the debut form of BLACK COMEDY sets a very high bar and he looks a winner waiting to happen for a stable whose runners only improve with experience. Derby entry Saeer really appeals on breeding closely followed by Godolphin's Warning Shot. Amaan is another to note in the betting.
  1. Black Comedy
  2. Saeer
  3. Warning Shot
