Belatedly lost his maiden tag at Pontefract last time out on his 13th Flat start. Up 3lb but has been in good form for some time and he's respected given that he should get a decent pace to aim at.
All three of his wins have come on AW, landing the race in the stewards' room last time out at Wolverhampton. Interesting if he handles a return to turf with the yard in excellent form.
Bumper/hurdles winner who gained a first win on the Flat at Brighton last time out (awarded race in stewards' room). Could well have more to give from just 2lb higher and a useful apprentice in the saddle.
Just one win in 18 starts to date but he's been running well in defeat and he's very consistent. Vulnerable from a handicapping perspective though in a deep race from 2lb higher than his sole winning mark.
Has really found his form for this new yard, making it three wins from his last four starts at Goodwood last time out. Could have more to give at this trip from just 3lb higher.
Added to a sole win as a juvenile when getting his head in front at Newbury in July but has failed to build on that two since, beaten a long way out at Windsor last time. Yard in good form though and a talented apprentice removes 3lb.
Hasn't won on turf since a 2015 course success at 7f. Struggling for any sort of form on recent starts but the handicapper is trying to give him a chance and he's not one to put a line through.
Put one of his better efforts in at Redcar last time but perhaps flattered by that run (allowed to make the running). Very well-handicapped on his best form and not ruled out if the first-time cheekpieces spark a revival.
Gained a Gowran Park win a good fourth in a competitive race at the Galway Festival and made it two wins from his last three starts at the Curragh last time out. Well in command that day and respected from 4lb higher.
Sole turf success came on debut at Pontefract in 2015. Feasibly handicapped on the best of his AW form but not as consistent on turf and others make more appeal.
His last win came in a 1m Listed race here all the way back in 2015. Regressive in recent years and still not proven over this sort of trip.
Gained a second win of the season at Doncaster in July but that was only a four runner event and he struggled in a deeper race at Haydock next time. Shaped as if amiss last time out at Redcar when tailed off and others make more appeal.
His sole win came over hurdles and there's been no signs he's well handicapped on his recent starts on the Flat. Beaten 30L at Musselburgh last time on yard debut and others make more appeal.
Won back-to-back handicaps last season, the latter of which was a C&D success. Back below that last winning mark but with good reason having failed to place in six starts this season and last of five at Catterick when last seen in July.

A tricky end to the card but it might be worth taking a chance on the Irish raider SHAMAD who has won two of his last three starts and gets the services of the talented apprentice Oisin Orr. Blue Medici only has a 3lb rise to cope with after gaining another win last time out. Arabic Culture represents a yard in excellent form and is worthy of respect. Black Kalanisi may be capable of building on his first Flat success last time out.
