Major player, despite being more exposed than most. Justified favouritism in good style over C&D before running warm favourite close at Wolverhampton (5f; standard) most recently. Has to give a penalty away to main rival though which won't be easy.
Highly unlikely to pose too much of a threat given the uninspiring manner of his debut effort at Salisbury (6f; good to soft) where he was unruly before entering the stalls. Likely best watched once again.
Slightly concerning that he was turned over at short odds (4-9f) when runner-up at Brighton (6f; good to firm) last time. Entitled to be the one to beat on ratings and the strength of his form overall however. Drops in trip to 5f for the first time.
Made a promising enough debut at Sandown in a race where those around him all had the benefit of experience. Likely to need further than this in time, but he should go close if finding some improvement.
Stables other runner made a fairly encouraging debut recently, but their strike rate with newcomers doesn't make much appeal, and this is a hot race to start career off in. Watching brief advised.
Outran 40-1 odds on debut when showing definite ability to finish third of six at Lingfield (5f; standard) last month. Related to a few decent sorts for these connections, but this represents a step up in grade.
Forecasts
Laikaparty (8/11), Qinwan (9/4), Audio (11/2), Lady Phyllis (25/1), Lady Codee (50/1), Alfies Watch (66/1)
After making a pleasing debut when sixth in a race full of runners with experience, Qinwan is bound to improve a good bit from that initial effort in what is a slightly less competitive event. However, this looks to rest between Audio and LAIKAPARTY. The former has been in good form in the main since making his racecourse debut back at Kempton in April. His most recent effort at Wolverhampton showed he is still going the right way. However, the latter has been the model of consistency finishing runner-up on each of his three career starts to date. He can take advantage of the weight he receives from the former and get off the mark at the fourth attempt.
