Placed in a maiden over an extended 7f at Beverley (good-to-soft) in May, badly out of sorts at Chelmsford in July when last spotted however. Needs blinkers to perk him up.
Lightly-raced C&D winner, well held over a mile at Windsor and needs to bounce back to have a say here.
Second in Wolverhampton novice over this trip in November, hasn't built on that in either run since however and definite questions to answer for now, first run since May.
Some promise shown in nine-race career, though yet to trouble the judge. Tongue-tie is added here and will have to have a positive effect.
7f winner at Lingfield on the AW in June. Less promising in four starts since though, including over C&D. First-time blinkers added in bid to perk ideas up.
Has won at this course before over 7f, comes here off a promising second Lingfield last time out and should get involved in shake-up with a repeat effort.
Unpromising form in maidens and duly well held here on handicap debut over 7f recently. Gets 3lb relief going up in distance but improvement demanded.
Maiden knocking firmly on the door, placed last three starts; two of them over 7f/1m here. Back up in trip for this and rates amongst the more solid players.
Five-race maiden, not progressing including in handicaps Chelmsford over further. Drops back to the mile and will have to improve to stand a chance.
Defied racing keenly when making a winning handicap debut at Chelmsford (7f, AW; 25-1) last week. Has to take another step from this mark in a stronger race but could be capable of just that.
Fast-finishing second over this mile trip at Yarmouth last time. Yet to win and up 2lb in ratings for that effort, but should have something to offer with this trip suitable.
Just ¾L second behind Sharp Talk at Chelmsford last week and gets a 2lb pull on re-opposing rival now. Every chance of further improvement to come.

Forecasts
Stormbomber (5/2), Crimewave (13/2), Dutch Story (15/2), Sharp Talk (8/1), Indian Sounds (8/1), Ifton (10/1), Madame Tantzy (10/1), Sir Ox (10/1), In The Cove (11/1), Penrhos (12/1), Jabalaly (14/1), Better Than Ever (14/1), Sunvisor (20/1), Powerful Star (25/1)
Sharp Talk made a winning debut over this trip at Chelmsford recently, with Dutch Story just behind in second spot. The winner has more on this plate in a stronger contest now, while the runner-up has valid claims of turning things around on the revised terms. C&D winner Sir Ox should be sharper for the run last time while Ifton and Indian Sounds are worth considering. Preference though is for STORMBOMBER, placed three times lately, including twice here. The return to a mile is a positive and Ed Walker's colt should be on the board soon.
- Stormbomber
- Dutch Story
