Recorded a head success over an extended 5f at Bath (firm) a month ago and ran well when finishing a close fifth over the same C&D subsequently. One to note in this contest.
In good form since returning from a break following up a 5f victory at Thirsk (good) in July with two placed efforts prior to a 1¾L fourth at Yarmouth (5f, good-to-firm) last time out. Interesting stepping back up in trip.
Handicap mark is falling following four defeats since joining this yard and refused to race over an extended 5f here on her penultimate start. Both previous victories have come over this trip. Also engaged 17:50 Wolverhampton Saturday.
Nine race maiden and finished well beaten the last twice including over 7f in a first time visor (replaced with cheekpieces for the first time here) at Chelmsford last time out.
Successful over C&D on her two most recent starts including by a head in a four runner contest last time out. Raised 2lb for that victory and looks likely to play a leading role with further improvement likely on just her fifth turf start.
Good second in a classified event over an extended 5f on firm ground here in May. Blinkers worn for the first time that day left off when well beaten at Yarmouth (5f, good-to-firm) last month and others make more appeal over this distance.
19 race maiden returned from a break with a 2L second in a selling handicap over C&D on good-to-firm ground in July. Below that form over this trip on the AW at Chelmsford last time out however.
Maiden after 21 starts and was returning from well over a year off the track when beaten 13½L at Bath (5f, firm) two months ago. Others make more appeal.
Nine race maiden has finished held in four starts this campaign most recently when 12½L fourth in an eight runner 7f seller at Leicester (good-to-soft) last month. Blinkers tried for the first time.

Red Tycoon (10/3), Knockabout Queen (4/1), Nervous Nerys (9/2), Monarch Maid (5/1), Waneen (7/1), Red Snapper (8/1), Congress Place (10/1), Indian Affair (16/1), Willa's Wish (33/1), Regal Miss (40/1), Spring Holly (50/1)
MONARCH MAID has been in good form this year and she can register her second victory of the year by taking this competitive looking selling handicap. The selection has run well at this venue in the past and she can see off the hat-trick seeking Nervous Nerys. Third place can go the way of top weight Red Tycoon who was the winner of his penultimate start.
