Made a winning debut at Navan (5f, good) earlier in the year (race not worked out well) before failing miserably on his first run for this yard. Sold fairly cheaply (15,000 guineas) considering his winning debut, needs to prove himself on Fibresand.

Showed ability on her one 2yo start but wasn't seen until 15 months later when coming out on top at Windsor (5f, novice); won in good style. Only beat a modest sort but quickened up well; interesting to see what she can do on this surface.

Sole older horse in the field she's only a poor maiden (0-15) who makes very little appeal on what she's done so far. The only runner with any experience of this surface but that's unlikely to be of much use; blinkers on first-time.

Stable/ownermate of Bluella with just one unimpressive debut run to her name having been well beaten over 6f at Ripon in June; looked badly in need of the experience. Hard to see her being anymore competitive this time around.

Poor form so far in two starts separated by a break of four months running both times over 6f on turf. Relatively well found in the market both times which would suggest she's better than shown so far; first try on AW, should act on Fibresand.

Ran far better than her 50-1 SP would suggest on debut at Carlisle (6f, soft) when taking second (kept going well amongst experienced rivals). Not far below her debut form on Tapeta (6f) last time; had wind op since last start, first Fibresand start.

Verdict

Trainer Robert Cowell took this contest last year with a 16-1 chance Victors Lady who was making her third start and his filly BHANGRA also makes her third start in this heat. The form of her Windsor win isn’t anything to shout about (only beat a 51-rated rival) but she did so in good style and she can prevail again despite the penalty. Quickly Does It offers the main threat having twice run with promise and now returns from a wind op. The other two with a chance Double Martini and Lyons Lane both have something to prove with the former needing to bounce back from a moribund run last time and the latter needing to take a step forward on her two starts so far.
