Dandy Man gelding, not really been seeing his races out in four novice starts over 5f/6f. Plenty more needed despite dropping into this company.

Fourth to Amnaa in a York seller in June his best effort to date, beaten only 3L over 6f on soft ground. Not as competitive last time in this grade at Redcar and needs cheekpieces to bring something extra from him.

Heeraat colt, now looking overpriced at 15,000 gns having been well beaten in trio of maidens over 5f, starting at an SP low of 40-1. Up in trip and blinkers tried as he moves into selling company.

22,000 gns yearling; Camacho colt has hinted at ability in his five starts and wasn't disgraced in 7f soft-ground Haydock handicap last time. Could have better aspirations down in trip.

Son of Havana Gold has progressed in his five runs, latest being a runner-up finish in a 5f good-ground Musselburgh handicap (carried 3lb over weight). Worth a second look in this field.

Made all to win a seller at Redcar this month (had a few of these behind), defying odds of 25-1 in doing so. That was easily her best effort, but may not get things her own way again and previously finished behind Two Hearts at Musselburgh.

Filly didn't run badly in 6f Pontefract handicap last month (made running) and perhaps was less suited by a mile next time at Thirsk. Could be involved in the shake-up.

Sent off at big prices in three of his last four career starts, showing only fleeting glimpses of promise. First-time cheekpieces need to bring about improvement needed to play a role here.

33-1 chance and finished 4½L third of five in a Catterick seller (7f, soft) a week ago, recovering from a very poor break. Interesting if getting out more alertly over this trip.

Camacho filly, finished third in three novice/maiden sprints this summer (outclass in Newbury's Super Sprint also), but was a bit disappointing in Redcar seller won by Queens Blade this month. Should do much better and jockey booking a plus.

Society Rock filly, struggling to stay competitive in novice contests over 6f-7½f before tailing off having made running in Beverley handicap (7½f, good to soft) this month. Hard to make case for, may contest lead however.

Forecasts

Maybellene (11/4), Queens Blade (4/1), Callipygian (5/1), Sparkling Breeze (11/2), Two Hearts (6/1), The Ginger Bullet (6/1), Tenbobmillionaire (20/1), Fulbeck Rose (33/1), Courtney Rose (33/1), Champagne Victory (40/1), Teasel's Rock (50/1), Samsar (50/1), Intrinsic Bond (50/1)

Verdict

Queens Blade made every yard to win in this grade at Redcar recently but is unlikely to be allowed the same liberty here, with a number of likely frontrunners in the line-up, and she may struggle to repeat the dose. She had also finished behind TWO HEARTS in a Musselburgh handicap previously and, while she's better off on these terms, the selection should have plenty to offer in this grade and can give in-form trainer Grant Tuer another winner. Maybellene was behind Queens Blade last time but should do better with Oisin Murphy up while The Ginger Bullet and Fulbeck Rose are others to consider in a trappy opener.
