Progressing well since winning at Nottingham on return, and back to winning ways off 3lb lower at Newmarket (1¼m) last time. Effective here, and looks on a very fair mark still.
Lincoln third who has run well since winning at Newmarket in April, and better than ever when second to Jazeel at Sandown last month. Excuses behind Fayez last time, and one to view positively
Delivered on juvenile promise when winning a maiden at Gowran in April and bolted up on handicap debut at Roscommon next time. Back to form when sixth to Fayez at Goodwood last time on debut for new yard, and gives impression he can build on that.
Shaped well when fourth to Fayez at Goodwood (1¼m) last month, but he's hard to catch right, and has been below form on both starts since. Blinkers reached for now.
Now 9lb higher than for last turf win at Hamilton (1m½f) in July, but did score under forcing tactics at Chelmsford last time. This is tougher, though, and he's opposable on balance.
Won at Doncaster in April, and fine fourth in London Gold Cup at Newbury next time. Back to winning ways after a break at Goodwood last time, and is the type to progress further, so is taken to defy a 7lb rise.
Dropped in the weights before winning for current yard at Wolverhampton in February. Last turf run was when well beaten in John Smith's Cup here in 2017, and has something to prove after an absence.
Dual AW winner for Hugo Palmer last year, but ended 2018 on a low note, and has plenty to prove starting out for a new yard on the back of a lengthy absence.
Good second over C&D on penultimate start, and won at Newcastle last time, but he's been raised 10lb for those efforts and is facing stiffer competition here. Not dismissed, but must progress again to maintain his good run.
Still 2lb higher than his last winning mark despite a fruitless campaign, and needs a bit more help from the assessor before he will make much appeal.
Won at Ripon in July, and creditable third with cheekpieces refitted there last time. Up in class now in a change of headgear, and while that might work, others are more convincing.
Given a chance by the handicapper before winning over 1m1f here on his penultimate start, but no obvious excuse when only sixth here next time, and likely to struggle in this class.
Beaten favourite off this mark on his last Flat outing, but back to his very best when landing the Galway Hurdle last time, and of obvious interest if able to translate that form back to this sphere for shrewd connections.
Not running badly, and has dropped to a winning mark, but he plies his trade in lesser handicaps as a rule, and surprise if he was good enough in a race of this nature, with a first-time visor another variable to consider.
