Returns to hurdles having not been seen in this sphere since November 2017 when winning at Ayr in testing conditions off an 8lb lower mark. In fair form on the Flat of late (without wining); respected but not obviously well handicapped.
Landed a similar event at Perth in April off a 7lb lower mark building on some previously progressive displays. Little bit in-and-out since then; ran well last time (needed stronger pace), still 7lb above last winning mark, hard to rule out.
Dual C&D winner (second of those wins coming in this race in 2017 off 117); capitalised on a falling mark to find her winning form again last time out (first-time cheekpieces). Up 5lb but still well weighted on old form; firmly enters the equation.
Winning Irish point-to-pointer (fourth attempt) who confirmed the promise of her hurdling debut at Worcester (2m) last time. Steps up in trip for her handicap debut (mark reasonable); open to more progress, one to note for a positive market move.
Failed to build on her improved form when winning a Perth (2m4f) novice hurdle over C&D last time (0-135 grade too competitive). Eased in class now but still not obviously well handicapped; has something to prove versus some improving types.
In excellent form of late with her smooth (held-up) win at Market Rasen returning to hurdles showing her in a very positive light. Up 8lb for that win ran third over the same C&D (may have been in front too long); extra distance not certain to suit.
Struggling to find any sort off form for this yard having shown more when with Brian Ellison although she was only modest at best. Out of the weights to the time of 8lb; that factor makes her task even tougher, very limited appeal.

Forecasts
Bannixtown Glory (2/1), River Icon (5/2), Stop Talking (7/2), Oksana (11/2), Best Not Argue (13/2), Mega Double (15/2), Attention Seaker (14/1), Tickerty Boo (28/1)
The 2017 winner of this race River Icon has a fair record at the course which reads 1143, she returned to form last time and still features off a mark that makes her look well handicapped; sure to go close. STOP TALKING is just preferred though with a better pace than she had to aim at last time assured here with her mark still looking a workable one. Bannixtown Glory has started out well over hurdles and now switches to handicaps upped in trip, the mark requires her to progress again though. Oksana isn’t an obvious type for this trip but will be dangerous if she does stay with Attention Seaker worth a second glance in a competitive heat.
- Stop Talking
- River Icon
