Won here over 6f and at Chepstow twice over 7f in a very busy three-year-old year but three straight fifths suggest handicapper now has her measure. Gets 2lb back now but others preferred.
Eight-race maiden has often looked a non-stayer over variety of 1m plus trips including front-running fourth on the July course latest over 1m. May just be that 7f for first time this season plays to his strengths.
Getting ever closer now and she was only just touched off by a subsequent handicap scorer at Haydock last time out. That filly beat her ¾L off mark of 69 yet is now rated 80 so she looks potentially well in now.
Placed in three of her eight starts since winning at Kempton in April but rarely looked well handicapped and even with mark sliding others make more appeal here.
Beaten 3½L into sixth at Kempton on handicap debut latest (Balata Bay ½L in front) so needs more here although in just his fifth career start that remains a possibility; each way claims now.
Placed four times on the spin until complete change of tactics at Sandown latest where he led and faded into fifth. Presumably that experiment will be a one off and the filly should again be in the mix if held up.
7½f Lingfield winner in June ran well to finish second at Chepstow over 1m penultimately when headed in the dying strides. Shade disappointing at Newmarket latest but drop to 7f could be just the tonic and she's respected here.
Two good runs over 7½f and 7f on soft ground sandwiched a poor effort on good to firm over 6f. Latest run at Lingfield may be his best yet and on the back of that he must be respected and any rain will be a benefit.
Forecasts
James Park Woods (5/2), Just My Type (3/1), Quarry Beach (5/1), Hey Ho Let's Go (11/2), Balata Bay (8/1), Jungle Juice (14/1), Song of The Isles (16/1), Deference (16/1)
After being narrowly touched off at Haydock latest behind a subsequent winner JUST MY TYPE looks to have a really good opportunity to open her own account here for the prolific Roger Varian team. Also respected is Hey Ho Let's Go for title-chasing Oisin Murphy after his second at Lingfield latest. Back to 7f for the first time since his two-year-old days James Park Woods is an intriguing contender.
