Behind Love on debut at Leopardstown last month (third), has since improved to win a Galway maiden in good style. Half-sister to Alpha Centauri, should have more to come.
By crack sire Siyouni, made an impressive start when landing a 6f maiden here last month and looked almost certain to improve for the step up in trip.
Unfancied for debut, ran well, and improved on that to land soft-ground C&D maiden earlier this month. Needs to make another jump forward in this company but possibly will do.
Narrowly denied over C&D on second start before winning a Leopardstown maiden over 7f, has since gained Group 3 win over that track and trip. Big respect, having already beaten a couple of these rivals.
€1,100,000 full-sister to Group 1 Criterium International winner Johannes Vermeer, held by stablemate Love in Leopardstown maiden on second start, since scored with plenty in hand at Galway and clearly going the right way.
War Front filly has proved expensive to follow in five-race career, most recently finishing 4¼L behind stablemate Love in 7f Leopardstown Group 3 last month. One of four in these colours for Aidan O'Brien.
Zoffany filly, cost a cool 230,000 gns as a yearling. Edged out by Love on debut, has since gone very close in Group 2 Anglesey Stakes at this track and capable of further progress going up in distance.
Completes the Aidan O'Brien quartet, just held over 6f here on debut in May before winning easily at Navan (5½f, good to yielding; 1-6). Twice held in Group 2 fare since, has plenty improvement to find on that evidence.
Showcasing filly, gamely held off Love to win C&D maiden on debut in June. Fancied to give that rival a race next time in Group 3 at Leopardstown but never looked happy and finished last. Something to prove as a result.
Forecasts
Love (6/4), Alpine Star (2/1), Petite Mustique (9/1), Soul Search (10/1), Windracer (14/1), Tango (16/1), French Rain (16/1), So Wonderful (20/1), Know It All (20/1)
Soul Search (second) and Alpine Star (third) were behind LOVE in a maiden at Leopardstown last month and the Ballydoyle filly has stepped up on that form with a decisive success in the Group 3 Silver Flash Stakes at the Foxrock track since. She had stablemate So Wonderful and Windracer (previously beat her in a maiden) behind that day and sets a solid standard as her trainer bids to extend an excellent record in this race. French Rain, Know It All and Petite Mustique are all possible improvers.
- Love
- Petite Mustique
- Soul Search
