Leroidesanimaux filly, half-sister to a winner and dam was Group placed and a sister to two Group 3 winners. No extra on debut 2f out at Leopardstown when last seen and disappointing in April. Plenty to prove at present.
Dual bumper winner over 2m and in the Group 2 Mares' National Hunt flat race at the 2018 Grand National festival over 2m1f. Market check for leading owner.
Dawn Approach filly, cost €8,500 as a yearling. Half-sister to three winners and dam a juvenile winner. Improved from first start to second when not disgraced over 1m4f at the Galway festival earlier this month. Place claims.
Mixed bag in four starts this term and needs to reproduce recent efforts at the Curragh over 1m2f and Killarney running at 1m3f to play a role in this contest.
Daughter of Helmet and a half-sister to the useful Rythmique. Needs to improve on a couple of below-par efforts over 1m3½f and 1m2f so far in her short career. Hard to fancy and plenty to prove.
Daughter of Medaglia d'Oro; a second foal and a half-sister to winner Chiara Luna. Bred to need a touch further in time but well worth a market check on debut.
Daughter of Cape Cross out of a Galileo mare. Encouraging fourth of 10 on debut beaten 8L keeping on strongly in the final furlong at the recent Galway festival. Improvement can be expected.
Seven-race maiden ran well in defeat over a similar trip at Killarney last month finishing fourth of 14 beaten 1¼L. Better than her run at the Galway festival earlier this month and one for the shortlist here.
Paco Boy filly, cost 1,800 gns as a foal and £13,000 as a yearling. Dam a 7f AW winner and half-sister to two more winners. Will need to improve on a couple of below-par efforts since debut in June.
Daughter of Camelot, well held on both career starts to date over 1m4f at the Curragh last month before a 14L defeat in a Tipperary 1m1f encounter earlier this month. Others preferred.
Seven-race maiden, needs to mirror her recent run at Killarney to be playing a part in the finish here. To early to be writing off just yet representing a yard with a 27% strike rate at this meeting in the last four years.
Daughter of Teofilo out of a Entrepreneur mare. Dam dual winner on the Flat over 1m4f/1m6f. Closely related to multiple winners Ahzeemah and Austrian School. Worth a market check on debut.
Forecasts
Getaway Katie Mai (7/4), Peruvian Lily (5/1), Mount Jannu (5/1), The Tooth Fairy (7/1), Dawn Of The West (11/1), For Your Eyes (12/1), Midnight Sunshine (16/1), Romantically (16/1), Theodosi (25/1), Claiomh Geal (33/1), Postcode Envy (66/1), Hattie Amarin (100/1)
The Joseph O'Brien-trained MOUNT JANNU can land the opener, improving from her first run at the Galway festival earlier this month. The daughter of Cape Cross was keeping on strongly in the closing stages to finish an encouraging fourth of 10 and she can hold off the attentions of The Tooth Fairy who can emerge as the biggest danger. The Dermot Weld newcomer Midnight Sunshine merits respect while a big run from Peruvian Lily would not surprise.
- Mount Jannu
