Dual 6f scorer taking his last two races and looking a horse very much on the up (both wins at Nottingham; will handle soft conditions). Now carries a 6lb penalty (has to defy career-high mark); hard to ignore now yard have found his right trip.
Recent C&D scorer following up a win a Hamilton win in minor company over the same trip making it 2-3 since joining this yard. No worries over the current conditions (won on heavy last time); penalised but hard to leave out of calculations.
Consistent sort who has gained placings in his last three races with his two best runs coming over this trip; usually positively ridden, should handle the surface. Yet to win a handicap (only moderately weighted); others favoured at the weights.
Redcar (6f, good) novice winner (second start) who made the transition to handicaps last time (still learning but caught the eye). Finished second over C&D (conceded first run, had running left); up to winning off this mark, ground a potential worry.
Fair maiden who will be better off back on this sort of surface having run poorly on good ground the last twice. Handicapper doesn't look keen to let go though although the application of a visor (first-time) may eke out some further progress.
Easing rapidly in the weights but with little sign of taking advantage of a reduced mark with the first-time blinkers now reached for. Now back at 6f having been tried at further and shorter, others preferred this time around.
Consistent sort who found his good run of form come to a shuddering halt last time over 7f at Catterick. Already won twice this season and handles ground with give; not really a sprinter (wins over 7f/1m), blinkers return, wins in other headgear.
Still a maiden (0-9) who has run with credit of late without looking like winning; in cheekpieces the last twice. Third at Thirsk (6f, good-to-soft) last time out a repeat of that run wouldn't be good enough here; basically, more needed.
Just the one win from 22 Flat runs fails to inspire in a race which contains some improving types. Better if still a little quirky in cheekpieces of late (removed here); usually races off the pace and merely made late gains last time.
Life won't be easy from 5lb out of the handicap with his maiden status still intact having finished well held at Thirsk (handicap debut) last time. Made little impact overall and hard to see that changing here given the company.

Ugo Gregory (11/4), Bedtime Bella (9/2), Kolossus (9/2), Mina Velour (6/1), Macs Blessings (8/1), Princess Palliser (10/1), Autumn Flight (12/1), Sarasota Bay (16/1), Jordan Electrics (16/1), Popping Corks (33/1), Kyllachy Castle (150/1)
Despite an extra 6lb and the need to produce another career-best performance UGO GREGORY looks a sprinter on the up having improved for this switch back to this 6f trip, ground conditions won’t be a worry; he looks to have a good chance of completing a hat-trick. He may not get events all his own way though with the other last time out and penalised runner Bedtime Bella looking to be a sound opponent having run well for her current yard. Mina Velour is another strong candidate having shaped well on her handicap debut; her turn can’t be far away either in handicap company. First-time headgear and reverting to this surface may well help Sarasota Bay produce a better performance than of late.
