Pleasing effort on debut over C&D almost two years ago. but not seen since disappointing at Wolverhampton in October 2017. Encouraging to see connections keeping the faith, and respected despite his lengthy absence.
Place claims on pick of form, notably third off a mark of 70 at Brighton (7f) in June. Has had plenty of chances, though, and last two efforts have been below-par. Cheekpieces back on now, replacing eyeshields he wore when running badly last time.
Twice placed over C&D last season, and the clear pick of these on those runs. Below form when last seen, and returning from a lengthy absence here, but still hard to get away from him in a weak contest.
Roderic O'Connor half-sister to several winners, out of Duchess of Cambridge and Lowther Stakes runner-up Salsa Brava. Belated debut given her pedigree, but top rider booked, and wouldn't need to be a star to score at the first time of asking.
Failed to beat a rival prior to finishing 10th of 12 on handicap debut at Newmarket. Again well held back in maiden company last time, and simply seems very limited.
Sir Prancealot filly out of a dual winner over 5f in modest company (from 41 starts). Makes limited appeal on pedigree, and yard not renowned for first-time-out winners.
Last Year's Winner
