Decently bred but showed little on debut at Leopardstown for a stable who has been struggling for two-year-old winners this season.

Hard Spun filly; cost $100,000 as a yearling; first foal; related to some minor stakes winner in the US. Not without a chance and market should shine a light on her chances.

Quite well bred Galileo filly who is related to some top quality Turf and Dirt performers in the US up to mile.

Stoutly-bred filly; moderate effort on debut in June and entitled to improve but long absence is a slight concern and stable not churning out juvenile winners.

Cheaply bought filly who cost just 1,000 euros as a yearling; unlikely to be good enough.

Galileo filly who is a full sister to Irish Derby and St Ledger winner Capri who cost 800,000 guineas as a yearling; stable runners generally need a run but expect this filly to run a big race.

4/6
Galileo filly, full sister to four winners including dual Guineas winner Hermosa and dam a Group 2 winner. Will have needed the run when staying on in the closing stages at Goodwood on her debut at the start of the month and looks the one to beat.

Another wonderfully bred filly who cost 1.2m guineas as a yearling; also by Galileo, she is a full sister to the very smart Kew Gardens.

Fairly well bred related to numerous middle distance French winners. Market may provide a guide but she would have to something special to beat some of experienced and well bred rivals on her debut.

Cost 8,000 euros as a yearling; related some plenty of classy middle-distance types; hard to see this Maxios filly being good enough on debut.

Forecasts

Salsa (4/6), Snow (13/2), Unknown Pleasures (9/1), Florence Camille (10/1), Yaxeni (12/1), Passion (12/1), Auma (20/1), Elite Craft (25/1), Global Crossing (25/1), Southwood (33/1), Lefty Was Right (100/1)

Verdict

Plenty of well-bred fillies on show in what looks like being a fascinating contest to watch. Best of the newcomers could be the impeccably-bred Snow who cost 1.2m euros as a yearling and the stable will be full of hope for while Passion fetched a similar eye-watering fee. She is a full sister to the very smart Capri. It could however pay to look to a horse with racecourse experience suggesting SALSA may be capable given the pleasing manner of her run at Goodwood earlier this month.
