Good second over 5f at Ripon (good) on her penultimate start. Struggled on good-to-soft going at Catterick (5f) subsequently and interesting to see how she fares.
Returned to form with an impressive 3½L victory in a C&D handicap on good-to-soft ground two weeks ago. Raised 8lb for that success and is one for the shortlist in this contest.
Followed up a big field 5f handicap victory at York (good-to-firm) with a 1L second over an extended 5f at Ayr (good-to-firm) last time out. One to note off a mark 5lb higher than for that York success.
In good form in the spring but absent since finishing 33L last of 19 over this trip at York (good-to-firm) in June. Cheekpieces worn for the first time that day and hood worn in recent starts both absent on return from a break.
Victorious on two of his last three starts including by ½L in a four runner soft ground handicap over this trip at Nottingham earlier this month. Interesting despite a 3lb rise in the weights.
Held on two most recent starts including when fifth over C&D on good-to-soft ground last time out. Hood worn for the first time that day is absent. Tongue tie tried for the first time.
Winning for the sixth time when successful in a five runner 5f handicap at Musselburgh (soft) a week ago. Would appreciate any softening of the ground and is a leading contender under a 4lb penalty.
Ran well to finish 3½L second in a 0-85 handicap over this C&D on good-to-soft ground last time out. Races off the same mark here and has won over this C&D in the past.
Successful in a 6f novice event on the AW at Newcastle last November. Debuted for this yard with a 4½L third at Doncaster (6f, good-to-firm) last month. Interesting on handicap debut.
Completed a 5f Musselburgh double when winning by a neck on good ground two weeks ago. Raised 4lb for that victory and a notable runner stepping up in grade.
Showed up well on both starts since returning from a break most recently when beaten a neck over this trip at Carlisle (good-to-soft) last time out. Worth a check in the market racing from out of the handicap.

Our Little Pony (5/1), Music Society (5/1), Hawaam (15/2), Thirlmere (15/2), Red Pike (8/1), Nibras Again (8/1), Boudica Bay (9/1), Show Palace (10/1), Merry Banter (11/1), Bowson Fred (14/1), Bashiba (16/1), Gorgeous General (20/1), Pea Shooter (25/1)
RED PIKE can complete a double following a victory on soft ground at Musselburgh last week. The selection looks capable of getting the better of previous C&D winner Hawaam who also registered a victory on his most recent start while third place can go to Show Palace who is another to have triumphed on his most recent start.
- Red Pike
- Hawaam
- Show Palace
