Winner over this trip on good to soft at Haydock penultimately and his subsequent fourth at Carlisle can be partly excused given a lack of racing room in the straight. 3lb higher than Haydock but capable of making his presence felt.
Sole win came at Windsor (1m½f) last September. Has been running consistently well this season however placing six times in seven starts with a lone flop on soft ground. Fingers crossed then that it stays dry and if so a bold bid is predicted.
Two years since his C&D win and for all he can on old form be looked at as well handicapped his recent back-to-back pulled ups over hurdles have to be taken into account and create a cautionary tale.
Had been disappointing in handicaps but combination of step up to this trip and soft ground for the first time saw her buck that trend by winning at Notts. Not harshly treated by the handicapper and is respected now over 1m2f again.
Ran his best race for quite some time when third of eight at Haydock despite racing from out of the handicap latest. With that revival shown and blinkers fitted his claims looks far more obvious than in recent starts.
First start for new yard (formerly with James Tate) latest saw him finish fourth of seven at Sandown. That his first run for four months so entitled to come on for it but others more compelling.
Very disappointing last of nine at Beverley latest after breaking his maiden tag at Nottingham the time before. Capable still off this mark if her bounces back but last run really was concerning.

Having bumped into decent winners the last twice up north MINA VAGANTE looks a winner waiting to happen and she can strike for the first time for Hugo Palmer and James Doyle here. Whether it was the softer ground or longer trip that brought about improvement for Capriolette last time out remains an unknown but she is respected now given her unexposed profile beyond 1m. Ultra-consistent Allegiant deserves his day in the sun and he is sure to again make them all go.
