Harbour Watch gelding. Dam was a 5f winner and produced 1m2f winner Mr Frankie (one win from 38 starts) but other progeny have offered little on the track. Best watched on debut.
Inexperience told on debut when missing the start, eventually finishing 12L seventh in 6f Windsor maiden. Entitled to be more streetwise for this contest and not without hope.
Defied his outsider status on debut when finishing well in second in 6f Lingfield novice (standard) in June. Form has been slightly franked and has been given a break to freshen up. Respected.
Ran a fine race on debut when 2L fourth in hot-looking Goodwood debut (6f) at the start of the month. Was hampered that day but the winner looked a good horse so he sets the form standard. One to beat if behaving in the stalls.
Wootton Bassett colt and is the first progeny of a mare who showed nothing in one start in France. Dam is a half-sister to two 1m3f winners which suggests this colt will fare better over further.
Homebred. By a top-class middle distance performer who has produced staying types and out of a lightly-raced Dam who is a half-sister to smart 1m2f performer Snoqualmie Bay. This trip may be sharp but merits a betting check.
Finished fifth in two starts on the track as an outsider, including when fifth of 10 in minor event at Wolverhampton (6f). That form looks very weak and others preferred.
Lethal Force colt who made a pleasing debut over C&D when touched off in second. The front two pulled well clear of the rest of the field that day and should go close if replicating that form.
Daughter of showcasing. Looked promising on debut when second in 6f Leicester event (heavy) on debut. Pedigree suggests this ground may be more suitable and has solid claims.
Unraced Camacho filly who sold for €17,000 as a yearling. Out of a mare who failed to win on the track but has produced 6f winner Blue Bounty and 1m2f winner Traveltalk. Yard not known for juvenile winners.
150,000 gns purchase as a yearling and related to a host of winners. Outpaced when 11th in strong-looking Goodwood maiden (6f) on debut but showed promise for a while. This is an easier and is open to progress.

Stoweman (6/4), Impressor (13/8), Smokey Bear (5/2), Bright Valentine (7/1), Harlequin (16/1), Malmesbury Abbey (16/1), Ruby Power (20/1), North Point (25/1), Lisbeth Salander (33/1), Bright Red (33/1), Alfies Watch (100/1), Parker's Boy (150/1)
The well-bred IMPRESSOR defied his odds in a typical strong Goodwood maiden on debut and comfortably behind him that day were horses who are contesting division one of this contest earlier on the card. If his form is franked in that race, he could prove to be hard to beat. His nearest challenger looks to be Stoweman, who put his rivals to bed (despite being beaten) over C&D on debut and should have the natural progression in time, while Harleqiun is dangerous to ignore coming into this race off the back of a break.
- Impressor
- Stoweman
- Harlequin
