On a handy mark but has never won over 1m and the state of the ground would be a concern if testing conditions are prevalent by this stage of the day. Stiff task under top weight.
Not been beaten far in his last two starts and has dropped to a competitive mark. Well beaten in his only try on soft ground but that was in a higher grade and he's now in better form. Well worth considering.
Taken to racing in cheekpieces and made the most of a handy mark when winning at Salisbury last time out. This is his time of year and has put a winning sequence together before now; up 3lb but still room to move. High on the shortlist.
Out of form in five starts this season and now on a career lowest mark after the steady decline. Set to race from 14lb below his last winning mark and needs a complete reversal if he's going to recapture his old sparkle.
Improved effort last time (only his second start in a handicap) and may be more to come; first try over a mile but is a lot less exposed than most of his elders. Worth keeping a close eye on in the betting market.
Ran well to be placed over and extended 7f here last time and shaped as if a mile should suit these days. That was his best effort since joining his current yard and possible he can find more; needs to prove the trip suits; the betting can guide.
Inconsistent and ran his best race of the season when finishing third at Windsor last month; tried in blinkers that day but below par in the headgear twice since. Now switches to a visor so possible he'll respond better but still a stiff test.
All previous wins over 6f-7f and achieved on one or other of the synthetic surfaces bar Newcastle and Southwell. Turf record stands at 0-14 and latest performances suggest the gelding has another stern test ahead from out of the weights.

Racing in cheekpieces has revitalised GREELY and he's been found a decent opportunity to add to his tally after winning in a gutsy manner at Salisbury last time out. The gelding is no stranger to putting together a sequence of good runs and looks the most appealing betting proposition from this bunch of inconsistent handicappers. Flying Dragon has a race within him and arrives here in good enough form to merit consideration even though further rain would count against him. Canoodling has more to offer in handicaps and is also one to place on the shortlist. Kodiline is on a handy mark despite top weight and is also worth bearing in mind.
- Greeley
- Flying Dragon
- Canoodling
