Well supported when rounding off last season with a win at Pontefract from a 1lb higher mark; three starts this term have brought very little reward though. The drop in trip can help this time but still have a bit to prove under top weight.
Best form has been posted over hurdles and has to be a concern that he's still a maiden after 26 previous attempts on the Flat; finished tailed-off and a long way behind Beer With The Boys last time and hard to recommend here.
A maiden under both codes and showed little on his return from a break/debut for his current yard when well held at Chepstow last month. Big improvement required in the first-time cheekpieces.
Back to form last time and responded well in cheekpieces (replaced a visor) last time; so feasible there's more to come from this lightly raced gelding. Has a choice of three entries this week but might not want the ground too soft.
Won't mind any give underfoot and runs from 1lb below her last winning mark; but recent return to action left a lot to be desired when she was eased 2f from home. A much more determined effort is needed this time.
Held his form well lately and exploited a lenient mark when scoring at Windsor last month; that was his first career win but not much to find to back it up in this company. Trip and ground not expected to pose many problems. Player.
Tries blinkers and a tongue tie for the first time, no doubt in the hope that the applications prompt an effort more in keeping with his eye-catching pedigree. Big step up on all previous form required.
Moderate levels of form posted in a couple of maidens, a seller, and a claimer last season; also very little to take from his seasonal/handicap bow at Chepstow last month. Would be surprising if he's good enough to win in this company.
Second in a seller last time is her best piece of form so far but the gelding was never a factor in his only previous run in a handicap. Others can lay out stronger cases.

IT'S HOW WE ROLL is the suggestion after his last time out win at Windsor, in a race in which he overcame trouble in running to swoop with an irresistible late run. A similarly determined effort would make him the one to beat in this modest company. Chinese Alphabet ran well in cheekpieces last time out and can again go close if the switch in headgear (from a visor) continues to work. He does have a bit to prove if the ground is testing though. Beer With The Boys knows how to win a race and is probably better than he's shown so far this season. He's another to monitor closely in the betting.
