Broke his maiden at Leicester (7f) two starts back on his handicap debut. Did not settle very well last time at Newmarket (7f) when third of four. Up in trip where he is still open to improvement. Leading player.

Was successful at the third attempt last time at this track over 7f where he finished a head in front after going off as the well fancied 5/4 favourite. Struggled in a Listed race at Ascot (7f) two starts ago but has a good chance at this level.

Has scored once in his five runs so far. Was successful in a maiden contest at Epsom over 7f, two starts back. Was unable to follow it up on his last outing at Goodwood where he was fifth of 14 in a class 2 event. Good enough to be competitive here.

Has not performed too badly in his three starts so far but remains a maiden. He was third of seven last time at Redcar (7f). This trip may suit him better as he was a little outpaced on his latest appearance, others preferred though.

Verdict

MAKING HISTORY has the pick of the form here and is the one they all have to beat in this nursery. He did not help himself last time at Leicester where he pulled hard in the early stages. With the experience he has now, he should relax better over this trip so take him to record his second success. Forbidden Land is still a maiden after three runs but he looks open to improvement which will see him go close, while Dramatic Sands has done little wrong at this level so can't be ignored.
