Winner on the AW at Kempton in May, outclassed at Royal Ascot next, but going well in nurseries since and takes a drop in class here. Should have a leading say when it matters despite conceding penalty.

Unraced daughter of Slade Power out of a mare who was victorious three times in sprint contests. Market support would be notable for a stable in decent form lately.

Shaped well on debut at Newbury early last month and again showed up well at Newmarket (6f, good to firm) in decent novice fare when making running. More progress to come and considered.

Cost 100,000 gns as a foal and half-sister to multiple winners in this sphere. Market should reveal plenty on first start.
Ivawood filly, cost €42,000 and is a half-sister to multiple winners over this sort of trip. Respected on debut.

38,000 newcomer representing a stable with a decent record with their juveniles. One to pay attention to.

Shown very little in two starts to date, including when 23L ninth in 6f Nottingham maiden. This looks tough and is a likely outsider.

Camacho filly, cost relatively little in comparison to a few of these at €11,500 and yard aren't renowned for exploits in this sphere.

Unraced Cityscape filly and a full-sister to winner Hector's Here. Hails from a top yard and is an interesting contender on debut.

Zebedee filly, best watched on debut for stable that has yielded just one two-year-old winner so far this year.

Brazen Beau filly, makes some appeal on appear and trainer capable of having one ready - though is without a two-year-old winner this season.

Debutante by Swiss Spirit; fourth foal; half-sister to 5f two-year-old winner Islay Mist; dam 6f-7f winner (inc. at two). Others appeal more here however.

Pair of promising efforts here over C&D so far in novice/maiden company; needs to step forward no those but capable of doing so and will be competitive in that scenario.

Angel Grey (9/4), Seraphinite (5/1), Alcance (5/1), Loco Dempsey (6/1), Pretty In Grey (14/1), Letscrackon (14/1), Lady Latte (16/1), Inevitable Outcome (20/1), Marzipan (20/1), You Don't Own Me (22/1), Belle Anglaise (25/1), Princess Carly (40/1), Lethal Sensation (100/1)

Verdict

Seraphinite, a winner on the AW in May, sets the standard of those that have run already but could prove vulnerable conceding a penalty. Angel Grey has shaped well in two runs and can go well if settling a bit better but this might go to a newcomer. Alcance makes plenty appeal on paper and is noted but preference is for Richard Hannon's LOCO DEMPSEY. She's bred to have the speed for this test and can make a quick start her career to boost the trainer's somewhat modest 2019 record a track where he traditionally well.
  1. Loco Dempsey
  2. Angel Grey
  3. Alcance
